Did Anyone hear back from the college as yet
My interviewer(second year student) said they will roll out admission before the deadline . When exactly he also dint knew.
The wait is killing .
I also had another doubt .
I believe that I have a solid profile and good score , but due to some reasons the interview did not go well, it became rather monotonous and boring. Does anyone know whats the ratio to interview calls to final admits and also how critical ( or what share) will the interview be on my final decision.
Regards and best of Luck to everyone

Well I am not absolutely sure about the exact ratio of converts but I think its somewhere around 70%. The interview itself will not make or break your candidacy, it is just suppose to mirror your application in general. Having gone through a couple of forums from last year's admission season, I noticed a couple of people getting dinged who claimed their interview experience was really positive. So even I am really anxious at this moment.

70%?!
Doesn't that seem a bit far-fetched? Even MIT's yield is 50-60% and they probably had one of the highest because they interview so less people. Are you sure about this figure? If this is true, you just made me a million times more happy and anxious at the same time!

I may tend to be biased as I would like to believe the percentage, 70%... but I wanted to highlight that it is not a ridiculous number.
You mentioned about MIT Sloan's admittance after interview was 50 to 60 percent, and having so few people being invited for the interview..
According to the US NEWS, MIT had 819 enrollment and the acceptance rate was 13.1%. which would yield total of 6252 apps.
On contrary, the McCombs had acceptance rate of 32.6%, and 511 enrollment... again, yielding total of 1567 apps..
If your number was correct, assuming the 60% yield rate, MIT would have conducted interviews for 1365 people. That's only 200 people shy of the total number of APPLICANTS for McCombs..
I don't think MIT is interviewing such a small number of applicants.. It is the balance between total number of apps and the percentage..
