Got an email from GT with subject line " Application evaluation check in" , that explains in detail the process that my application is currently going thru :| . Anyone else got the same? They should just roll the decisions rather than sending such mails :P

Yes...my interviewer told me that since 20th is a Sunday I can expect them to start sending out calls Friday onwards. But don't fret if you don't get a call on friday. Even in R1 people got calls until the deadline and some even got notified of admit thru portal directly.

You might start getting calls from today. Last year I received a mail late on thrursday night and some directly got notified on the application portal. So as long as you get an explicit reject... You are in with a good chance.

The school moved from 24 to 22nd in the rankings. So a very good time to get an admit and walk in. Hope to see many of you on campus next year :-)
