Hi,

I am an international applicant. I have submitted my application on 1st Oct. My Gmat score is still awaiting and recommendation is still not completed.

I have not received the invite :cry: , but I am still hopeful that I will get an invite :) ..

For those who have received the invite, BIG congratulations. Wish you luck for your preparation of interview.

How's the preparation going on?

Hey Guys! I have submitted my application on Sep 30th and have received an email from Tepper on Oct 06th saying that my application is complete and I will receive a decision for round 1 according to the notification dates. But I have not received any interview invite yet. What does it mean? Hearing that round 1 applicants already got their invites really worries me. Am I dinged already?? :/

I had my interview this morning with Nicole Chambati. I had met with her during a local MBA Fair so I made sure to pick her since we already knew each other. At the beginning, she said that she was going in blind with just my resume and I can reuse answers to questions that may have been used in the application.

Below are questions (from as much as I can remember):
    - Walk me through resume
    - Specific question about my current position and what I do.
    - A time when you had a conflict at work and how it was resolved.
    - Project where you went in with lack of information.
    - A time when you dealt with someone from a different culture. How was it?
    - A decision you made that could have an impact that may not be seen as favorable, how did you deal with that?
    - Applying something you learned from experience to a different situation. How did that go?
    - Why MBA and why Tepper?
    - Short term goal? What about Plan B?
    - Time for my questions.

Overall, pretty friendly chat and behavioral questions you should already know about if you have browsed the threads from past years. Good luck to all and hope December brings good news! :-D

I am still waiting for an Interview Invite. I got the application completion email on 13th Oct. Does anybody have any information on their notification schedules?

I don't have info on their schedules, but I also received that same email on the 13th Oct. Probably they are still reviewing a lot of applications..
I guess we need to be patient and wait a little bit more.

I finished my interview on 10th October and was asked the same set of questions mentioned in the posts above.. Do all decisions come in 14th December or can they slip one earlier too? After all the excitement of the GMAT and essays, the wait seems so long and uneventful :S

I asked my interviewer that question and she said that all decisions come on the 14th December deadline, not before. Almost 2 more months before we know, seems like a loooooong time :shock:

To folks still waiting for CMU invites - I got my invite in the initial batch (couple days after submission), HOWEVER, my friend just got his TODAY.
He has a lower GPA so probably just didn't make their initial "metrics-based" cut of invites and had to sell them with the rest of his application (guess he passed the test).

DON'T LOSE HOPE!!
