Thanks.
Does anyone have insight on how much weight Tepper puts on on the interviews?
I'm curious to know if anyone knows how much weight Tepper puts on the interview? On one end it seems like a lot of people got interviews, diluting the importance, but on the other, Tepper's application is short and simple (I personally prefer it) but there's not as information to learn about a prospective candidate. Not much of an opportunity to showcase why Tepper on the resume
Could it be that Tepper really emphasizes stats?
i have to guess that interviews are important. i think that tepper puts less emphasis on the essays as compared to the interview. the interviews they ask that you do in-person. i think this has to do with the fact that its a smaller program, not in a huge city and they want to know that people are invested enough to see the campus and talk to students. i would rank interviews = academics = experience >> essays.
also, having talked to admissions, i know that diversity is extremely important, so even if you have a great score and good experience, it may hurt you if someone else has the same or better scores in the same industry. so we are more or less competing with the incoming class. than again, im not an expert. just my friendly opinion.
