I absolutely love (and attended for a MSc program) UF, but while it is a great place for Industrial Engineering it is not that good for MBA, unless you want to focus on Real Estate or Finance, if he is after Supply Chain Management, wrong choice.

Nope.... between this forum and people that the school was able to locate in FB, we know there are at least some 20 admitted. We don´t have the numbers for other than admitted and enrolled people

Call and ask them. All I can tell you is retaking the GMAT, getting a better score, reapplying and getting in is not unheard of, but before that try to figure out if they may have dropped you mostly based on this
