Congrats to everyone who was admitted. Unfortunately I was waitlisted - would be great to get advice on strategies to get off the waitlist. I've heard visiting the campus helps a lot.

Hi Veerjhamtani

Sorry to hear you didnt get accepted.

I don't have any exact strategies for getting off the waitlist.
My recommendation would be to go through previous years threads and see if anyone was able to, and if so, what did they do.

You could also retake the GMAT and aim for 750+

An early and very small sample size (~20) of admitted students the average GMAT was around 735 with a few scoring 760 and 780.

I'd also recommend talking to alumn / current students and try to gain more insight

Best of luck

Thanks! My GMAT is 740 so I don't think that's the issue here. I'll have a look at the past threads to see what works.

In Round 1, the decision was released on Nov.21st, and before Jan 14th should the admitted applicants accept the offer. Just for your information.

Hi everybody,

I am applying for R2 and I have some doubts on how to answer:

- Do you feel that your academic performance so far gives an accurate indication of your potential for success on the programme? If so, why?
- Reason for taking on this role? (referred to current and previous job)

Has someone some suggestion on how to answer?

Best,
S

1. You can answer Yes or No, for example:

- Yes. I have always been a top student in my class and school. Coming from a developing country, my university is not well recognized in the international market. However, with my GMAT 780, I believe I can handle all academic work in the MBA program
- No. During my university time, my mother was sick so I needed to spend a lot of time taking care of her. That's reason why my GPA is not very high. However, I have got GMAT xxx, participated course Y...

2. For example: I need to learn more about finance/I need to get more experience in a management role/I need to improve my soft skills.
