Can I ask why this diversity conference is a big deal? I'm a bit out of the loop here.

The attendees get guaranteed admission interview plus application fee waiver.

I have already applied and done with interview, should I schedule for diversity conference or not

You should. You should always try to remain visible to the admission committee, at least until final results have been published.

Ah! Okay I get the importance now, hopefully all can get in who want to!
Its a shame I wasn't paying attention, but I did get a fee waiver separately so I didn't miss out too much in the end.

But the diversity conference is in November. R1 deadline is Oct 15. Even if you get fee waiver for attending you’ll miss R1, right?

African citizen living in Africa. Not the most applicable case for most people on this sub unfortunately, but it was pretty much the only reason I applied to them.

Those who have interviewed are you guys receiving emails on some specific events?

The mail goes something like this- You may have already submitted your Darden application, but we have quite a few upcoming events that you may be interested in attending! These are great opportunities to learn more about Darden’s community and meet current students, faculty and staff.

Early Action had about a week’s grace - best to ask the Admissions committee in an event/via email to clarify.

sp24, Just my opinion, but I believe that they probably allow recommenders to submit up until the school begins reviewing your profile
