Anyone following up with their interviewers, I would suggest waiting until Monday before emailing them again after the first email. If you are paired up with an alumni, they may be busy with work and will revert during the weekend most probably.

The admissions committee is there to help you if your interviewer is not responsive. So better to follow up on Monday after the initial email and then reach out to admissions in case you do not hear back by Wednesday/Thursday. Just my two cents. :)

I think it’s life and so it could be totally appropriate but keep in mind how you would feel if someone for whom you were doing a favor who is asking to change. It Hass to be a good enough reason. However, you do have a chance of slightly annoying them first and then over, delivering during the interview, which would make a much more impressive interview. but I’m pretty sure it’s not a huge deal to ask if there’s a chance to reschedule just be concise and give a good reason.

Best of luck to everyone interviewing with Ross! :)

Quick question - Once my interviewer and I have decided on a date/time, is there any tab in the interviewer portal where I need to feed in that date/time? I currently cant see any place to do so..

kanika1997, I guess you will hear back over the weekend. If not, you can simply remind them again tomorrow and maybe keep admissions email as cc. So in case they are not responsive, you can request admissions team to check with them.

Interesting dynamics with the interviewer availability and attitude. I can see this being a personality, framework or potentially job related lack of time. Those working their butts off may not have the time to even see the emails or forget about them instantly, and those who reply faster, maybe even more organized or perhaps have cushier jobs or being lazy. I would be really curious to see if there is a correlation between the speed of the response and the attitude of the interviewer. Would love to hear your reports back from your interviews guys. 🙏

If bb asks for it, he will get it. Will definitely let you know about my interview experience. My interviewer although works for a MBB firm. So I am guessing she isn't lazy but organised.

Thank you. I guess you cannot be lazy or too disorganized if you work for MBB 😂 I would be curious about the people who have not responded, are they also consulting or tech or? I kind of feel that no matter what job you get out of business school, attention to detail and being organized are very inportant. I mean I have seen many photographs of Steve Jobs desk, and what a mess it looks like or looked like, but no one’s looking for a Steve Jobs out of business school… this is a bit of a problem for people who I’m more like big AG at people and don’t necessarily care about organization. Einstein was one of those folks and just like Einstein struggled to find a job, the world is not much different a 100 years later.
