I mailed the admissions committee today for re assigning an interviewer. It had been 7 days and 2 follow up mails. Do you think this would be taken negatively?
Nothing that's logical is ever taken negatively by the adcom. So you have nothing to worry in my opinion.

just got done with my ross interview. here is a debrief, if it helps anyone:

tell me about yourself, why mba, why now?, why ross?
A time when you took on a project where you didn’t have the technical knowledge & how did you fare
Biggest failure
Questions for me.
That’s all.

a little odd - interviewer was an older gentleman who had completed an executive MBA in 2017.

Sharing my debrief as well, which was quite opposite -
I was asked no questions on why MBA, why now, why Ross, etc. I was asked the following:
1) Walk me through your resume
2) What next for you?
3) Deep-dive on a few projects - my interviewer spent over 30 minutes on this and cross-questioned a lot, something I wasn’t expecting because he questioned a lot of my insights and showcased how he felt differently (he was a ’07 graduate, so he would keep going back to how his own industry experience has been different)
4) Tell me a time you failed
5) Tell me a time you trained someone
6) Tell me a time you faced resistance
7) Tell me a time you learnt something new in a diverse team
At the end, I had 20-25 minutes to ask questions. The interview was conversational but didnt go at all how I had prepared for it because of the heavy focus on my interviewer not agreeing to my specific project insights + I was asked no questions on Ross, etc. and I just tried to chip in my motivation for Ross based on interviewer’s replies to my questions.

Sheesh! Thank you for sharing this. Those who are interviewing will at least not be thrown off after reading this.

this is a little surprising. was the alumn someone who had a similar background/ex as you?
