I am fortunate to get into Booth and Tuck with some scholarship. Booth initially gave total scholarship of 40K whilst Tuck gave me 60k. I renegotiated the scholarship at both schools. Scholarship now stands at 100k from Tuck and 60k for Booth. I am in a dilemma as to which option to pursue.
I am from West Africa and currently in Big 4 audit. My short term goal is to work with an MBB in the US (preferably Texas, Atlanta). I have had several interactions with both current students and alum to see which school I fit in best.
Tuck
Pros
a. Strong MBB Placement
b. Tight-knit community
c. Good scholarship
Cons
a. Location- in the middle of nowhere
b. higher cost of attendance which is quite strange( Booth is 223k v tuck 235k)
c. lower ranked than Booth
Booth
Pros
a. Strong MBB Placement
b. Good location
c. Higher ranked than Tuck
d. Flexible Curriculum
Cons
a. Lower scholarship
b. Community is not as tight-knit as Tuck due to lack of cohort/section
Both schools have things i like tight knit and higher money from Tuck and reputation and location from Booth. Regenerate bb Nikhil, would appreciate your perspective.

Congratulations. I would consider your financial situation and where you will be able to attend comfortably. I feel both programs will help you to get what are you looking to get. They offer different experiences probably perhaps quite opposite in terms of location, in terms of structure and student body but both have placed really well in the past few years within consulting.
Booth would have more strength if you were looking to go into Chicago office which is a very prestigious location. However if you’re looking at Atlanta or south, there’s not a whole lot of a difference.
Booth is M7 so I feel it would be the favorite in this choice. However, it’s not worth starving and having a horrible two years if you’re going to be in a very tight financial position. Make sure you have padding in your budget. Who knows, we may be doing school from home for the next year or two again. I hope not. 🥴

Congratulations. I can't agree with bb more. M7 is M7 for a reason.
If you're very certain on your aspired current location and you want more $ for other purposes, then take the $.
Otherwise, you might like Chicago. who knows?
