Hi,
I received an offer for an MiM program recently and they have given me a weeks time to accept and make the payments.
The problem is I have also just recently applied to another MiM program which is my first choice.
But the interview is yet to be conducted.
I don't want to lose this opportunity in case I don't land my first choice program.
Can someone advice me on how to deal with this?

ansaroseCongratulations on receiving an offer for an MiM program!
You can write to the school that gave you an offer requesting for more time stating that you don't want to make a decision until you know all your options. The school may decide not to consider your request but this is worth a shot.
The second option is to accept the offer and pay the deposit to secure your spot. In the event that you get accepted into your preferred program, you will lose your deposit fully.
The third option is to confidently decline the offer and wait for the result from your preferred program. This obviously carries the risk of not having any admits at the end of the day.
Having said all that, the decision is ultimately yours. It would help to know which are these schools we are talking about to give you more detailed advice.
