Hi Mayank,
I have taken the same veritas prep test 5 and found the verbal score to be a bit discouraging. The questions are not too easy, and also I didn't get too many consecutive wrong answers. Also I didn't do too badly with easier questions. Yet my verbal score was just 34. I got 30 out of 41 correct. My Quant scores in Veritas tests were always 51. This time I got only 1 question wrong. So it was a 51 in Quant which was not surprising. I think Verits quant scores are a bit exagerated and verbal exactly the opposite.
But I still think Veritas prep questions are very good. The logic behind every question makes sense. I would go through thequestiins but putaside the scoring algorithm for the time being. I am planning to take the original GMAT CAT in 20 days. I have been getting around 700, but my target score is 760. So I feel a bit dejected right now.
Let's see what's going to happen on the test day.
