660 score enough

Question

I just got my result and has 660 as my score with breakdowns as follows

Quantitative 45
Verbal. 36
IR 5

Can someone tell me whether this score is well rounded enough to get me into bschools and if anyone knows about schools accepting this score please feel free to mention them below.

P.s this is an improvement from my previous score of 610 from 2019

ansana  - Congratulations on scoring a 660 on the GMAT. The answer to your query depends completely on your overall profile. While a 660 score is good enough for a candidate from Iran or Zambia, it is not competitive enough for a candidate from India or China. Also, the answer depends on your target schools, meaning how close/far is your score from the median schools of your target schools. Hi

First off, a 660/Q45 is a solid Score, so it could be enough to get you into your first-choice School (depending on the strength of your Overall profile and the Schools that you choose to apply to).

The process of applying to (and ultimately attending) Business School will require a big investment of time, money and energy on your part, so you really should make sure that the Programs that you apply to match your career goals/needs. There are a variety of factors that go into selecting the Schools that you'll apply to. Instead of just applying to Programs in which you might have a good chance to 'get in', here are some other things to think about:

1) Is there a particular company that you want to work for or industry that you want to work in? Certain degrees are more appropriate than others if you have a specific career goal. 
2) What do you want your MBA to do for you? 
3) Do you want to go to School full-time or part-time? 
4) Are you willing to relocate? Are you comfortable with working through a program that is primarily online? 
5) Are you going to be applying for scholarships? 
Etc.

It's okay if you don't have answers to any of these questions just yet, but you really should try to define all of the important variables in terms of your goals, so that you can tailor your entire approach to getting into the best School that matches what you're looking for.

Hi Ansana, Congratulations on improving your score to 660. But your admission to B-schools depends a lot on other factors as well such as your overall profile. GMAT score is only a part of your application. So, it's very difficult to assess your chances of admission just based on the score. You can check the average scores of the schools on their websites. That should probably give you an idea. All the best
