Hi everybody,
Is anyone here aware of whether it is mandatory to have name in degree certificate same as in passport?
I have initials in my name in certificates and marks card all along my education life. But my passport has expansion of those initials.
So I want to know whether this will be an issue when I apply for MBA admissions in USA.
My GMAT and GRE accounts have full name (expansion of initials) though.

Welcome to GMATClub
No, I don't think that should be a problem at all. Once admitted, schools make ask you to send an official transcript to them directly from the school. So, I think that would work.
Moreover, schools will do background check on your profile and they will be able to verify the same. As long as initials are correct, you should be fine.

No, this should not be an issue at all, especially if the initials are the same. The school will definitely figure it all out when they verify your record
