Hello Everyone,

As you all must have noticed, we have changed the email templates of all the GMATClub notifications. These include New Topic, New Reply, New Post, New Email, New PMs, etc.

Now, we are looking for Volunteers who can help us determine any issues/bugs in these templates. What you all have to do is just check the templates regularly during your preparation and post here any of the bugs that you may encounter.

Users reporting these issues will be awarded* access to GMATClub tests absolutely free for two weeks.


* Terms and conditions
1. The awards will be given on first come and first serve basis.
2. User should provide the screen shot of the issues on this thread.
3. If asked, user may be required to forward such emails to me or bb .

I have found something, not sure if you categorize this as a bug:
There is a repeat in Forum Question Banks link in the Tests dropdown. Check the screenshot.

Hey Hi, so I came across this post not exactly a issue with the email template, but hope it helps.
Whenever click on the profile name a bar comes down with some details about your profile.
But when your on the chat page this bar doesn't stay down and only on the chat page, it works completely fine on every other page.
I tried the same logging in through Morzilla and Google chrome and on another comp.
So yes I don't think I'm the only facing this issue.

Hi.
Looks like there's some issue with the "Activity history - GMAT CLUB Timer Attempt". Received 2 points within a gap of 5 hours (If I am not mistaken we get one per day, right?)

Hi. We changed it to be witthing a 24 hour period so one could get points at 23:00 and one at 1:00 or 23:59 and 0:01 to be more dramatic :-)

Couldn't find any other topic which asks for bug reporting. So posting this here.

Some parts of the gmatclub tests have some UI problems like the one can be seen highlighted with doodle boxes in the attached screenshot. Probably height and width of these elements are fixed.

Did u try to change zoom settings?

I tried it now. Doesn't seem to affect, though.
Anyway, my zoom was and is set to default 100%.

Not sure if zoom would make elements overlapped.

I've noticed a bug in which when I choose an answer the difficulty level or percentage changes. I'm not sure if this classifies as a bug though :grin:

Hi Salsanousi

We calculate the difficulty level based on the amount of time taken by users to answer the question. Hence it makes sense that difficulty level changes as soon as you answer the question. What surprises me is that the question you have in the screenshot has ~2400 sessions and your answer somehow changes the difficulty level calculated based on all these sessions.
