Experts say that this situation is caused by heaver smog and pollution in larger cities. However, during the last five years , there were 25 days when the temperature was same in both cities.

Not Sure. No were in argument this reasoning is mentioned so there could be many reasoning for symmetric temp.
D These 25 days are not representative of normal temperature measurements.
Sure. Consider this line in argument - "..is always 2 to 3 degrees higher .. ". This confirms that higher temp in big cities is actually the NORMAL representations. So the non-symmetric temp. of 25 days are NOT normal.
E Higher Temperatures in larger cities are caused by factors other than smog and pollution.
Not sure. This may be the factor, or may be the actual cause is something else.

I marked E. I am not very sure, but I think that D is challenging a statement from the argument.
This is like saying that " good boys pray. Ram is a good boy because he prayed for 3 days."
Conclusion- Those were not the normal days. ?? :(
