Hi everyone here,
I am currently working in a small VC firm as an analyst. I received the offer from McDonough with minor scholarship and a waitlist from Ross. I am currently trying really hard to flip my waitlist to an offer by updating my progress in career. However, the deadline for McDonough to pay the deposit is this Friday (May 15).
I also applied for the dual degree program in public policy and wish to do social impact-related investment/consulting. I think both schools have their strength in this field. UMichigan has student-led venture fund and its public policy ranked no.1 in the US. Georgetown on the other hand located in DC where all of those NGOs and policy consulting companies. Its public policy program benefits from its alumni resource from famous politicians.
So, if I successfully turn my waitlist decision to an offer, should I go Ross with no doubt or should I just give up on the effort of Ross and just choose McDonough?
