Hello Everyone,
I am 32year old married Indian Male living in Singapore since 6 years. Working into the field of Clean Energy and EV into research and development space. I have overall 8 year 9 months of work experience before starting my MBA journey in August.
Plan A --> My STG is to pivot into PM roles into Clean Energy and EV space.
Plan A --> My LTG is to become CPO into same organization.
Plan B --> My STG is to join PE/VC firm related to investing in Clean energy and EV space.
Plan B --> My LTG is to continue in same firm and get some higher position in that.
Disclaimer --> I don't have any finance and core coding background. I am pure engineer cum researcher before starting my MBA. Also, my wife would get transfer after one year only. In addition, this would be my second masters. I have already a MSc degree from Singapore in engineering.
My Dilemma and questions?
1.)As you guys can see that I got admit from 5 schools currently and in which I got scholarship from 4 school but not from Tuck. Tuck is one of dream schools. As, after talking many second year and first year student. It looks very homey felling.
Pros --> An Ivey League Tag.
Power house for consulting.
Good for PE/VC also. As they have a strong center of PE/VC.
Hannover less costly than other part of USA(Folks correct me if I am wrong)(As per several videos I saw)
Very Homey feeling.
Chilled down curriculum.
Cons --> No Scholarship.
Don't know much about PM specific placements.
2.)UCLA
Pros --> Scholarship of 70K.
Location in city(LA).
Solid for PM roles placement.
Cons --> Ranking wise lower than Tuck.
Average Base pay + bonus is lower than Tuck
Your advice would be very helpful for making my next moves. Also kindly, give the voting also. As many as possible. It would help me to take decision.
