Hi Masri,
We last discussed your studies almost 1.5 years ago (back in December, 2020). At that time, you were planning to take the GMAT in a couple of weeks. Did you end up taking the GMAT as planned (and if you did, then how did you score - including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores?)?
Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for - and before we discuss the data in your ESR - it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied in total?
2) Since you took this GMAT approximately 3 months ago, have you done any studying since then? In the 3 months prior to taking this GMAT, how many hours did you typically study each week?
3) What study materials have you used over the course of ALL of your studies? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
4) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
5) What is your overall goal score?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

- I did not take it when we talked in December 2020.
- In Late October 2021 I started all over again for a couple of months and in January 2022 I took the test and scored 540 but I was sick with COVID-19 during the test. One month forward, I got 640 as I clarified in the post. 1) How long have you studied in total?
I would say four months. (because some times I got to study for a couple of hours a week).
2) Since you took this GMAT approximately 3 months ago, have you done any studying since then? In the 3 months prior to taking this GMAT, how many hours did you typically study each week?
No I stopped Studying in late March after I completed the test. And in the time leading up to the exam, I studied on average 1-2 hours per day (around 10-12 hours per week) 3) What study materials have you used over the course of ALL of your studies? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
I relied on Target Test Prep and EMPOWER GMAT, for the mocks I relied on the official practice tests (Mocks), but as I mentioned I took only one of them like two weeks before the test.
4) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Two weeks before the test on 4/3/2022. The score was more or less like the official score (Q43, V35).
Goals:
5) What is your overall goal score?
700+
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
I am planning to apply in R1 or R2 for the next year intake (Start Fall 2023). I am planning to apply to LBS, Oxford, Cambridge.
With the manageable work load in the coming 2/3 months, I can allocate 2-3 hours per day and up to 6 hours in the weekends.
