Earlier, I had never opted for any online courses earlier, but had definitely used the online resources available like the 60 days preparing schedule given by Beat The GMAT (BTG), e-books from GMAT Club (GC), scavenged regularly on forums of BTG and GC etc. Armed with all the knowledge gathered from these site's i attempted my first GMAT. I am an IITian but after working on repetitive tasks for about 12 years made my sharp brain a bit slow and when I gave some mocks back in 2013 I was very disheartened with my results, That kind of affected my confidence as not only I was not able to go beyond 30-34 in verbal but also couldn't manage 50 in quant and that time I thought I needed a serious plan and material to practice with after analysing my techniques I figured out that my concepts and their application was not spot on and because of that I was wasting a lot of time too. Once I decided to give GMAT, I heard a range of facts and myths related to the preparation. One such myth was that the people, who are either avid readers or native speakers can only get a good score good in verbal section. The fact that I was neither of the two, scared me out of my wits and this thought was somewhere stuck in my head. Even though I tried to learn theory and practiced questions, I was unable to identify the cause of my mistakes. To add to my woes was my inability to sustain my concentration till the end of verbal section. These shortcomings were reflected in my first attempt of GMAT, where I had scored 32 in verbal.

After taking a break of a month, I decided to begin with my prep again. It was during this time one of friends told me about eGMAT verbal course. I signed up Verbal Online package after going through various reviews on gmatclub. It cost $199 when I bought it. I would recommend that any student who would like to improve on verbal, must go for this.

E-GMAT has this really effective method of teaching of breaking up the sentences and teaching the minute GMAT grammer rules. In such way, you need not remember all the rules except few. Before this course, I was unable to understand why the correct answer is correct and why the incorrect one in incorrect. This is a problem with almost all native speakers. E-gmat course helped me understand the basic idea of how to read and understand the meaning of the given question and then answer it effectively.

The one more good part of this course is scholarium, where you can test your skills. Its an access with huge number of question banks. It gives you graphical representation of your performance on both accuracy and ability.
It also give you performance info on various topics as well.


Overall I would say it a nice package. I am satisfied with the quality and they way they have tried to put this all together.

I would highly recommend this course. I have improved my verbal a lot. This course is perfect for non-native speakers. The course content is very good and easy to understand. New addition of Scholaranium lets you practice and fill in the missing gaps.

Sentence correction is the best section. I also liked CR section a lot. The meaning based approach for SC question is awesome. There is IR section as well which is the best i have seen. Very close to actual GMAT. Its the best verbal course out there.You need not think twice before purchasing the course.
