Want to improve Verbal section in GMAT !! - E-gmat Verbal Live Prep course is the one you should be looking for !! The strength of e-Gmat lies in the verbal section for non-natives. Though I didn't sign up for quant, but I can surely vouch for Verbal Live Prep course. They have a very different approach as far as solving verbal questions is concerned, and has helped me a lot to understand the concept .The sessions have been immensely helpful.
There are many other courses but I doubt that one would get such a detailed explanation or analysis of a question as one would get in e-gmat course.Along with some concept videos and live sessions, they also offer a plethora of questions to practice from.I would suggest you to try their tutorials/trials to see if they meet your requirements. But as far as my feedback is concerned, eGmat is worth a shot !
Hi,
I must begin by thanking Rajat and Payal for designing this amazing course. When I began my GMAT journey I remember struggling a lot with Sentence correction. Initially I started with manhattan but could not absorb much as i felt the book is designed for native users. Being a non native I was on constant search of some material which can give me the proper knowledge and direction that i was searching for. I attended their demo session and was blown away by the methodology of teaching, the way they explain the concepts and instantly I purchased the SC course and seriously it was a breath of fresh air. After some diligent handwork my accuracy shot up from 40-50% to 85% as now i was able to logically deduce the meaning of the sentence. I would recommend this course to all who are looking for some serious learning for GMAT. Lastly I would like to thank the entire team of eGMAT for their constant support.
just a quick return of experience on EGMAT Verbal live prep product.
I heard about EGMAT on GMAT club, and I quickly understood that this course will be adapted for me. Leaving far from a big city, working a lot (as everybody), the online lessons are very well explained and detailed. The e-learning process is really adapted to my actual life: can be followed on Iphone at the airport, or on laptop at hostel room ...
As non-native speaker, it has been a challenge for EGMAT to make me understand all concepts :-)
I hope a good improvement in my gmat score at the end of the month.

Leaving far from a big city, working quite a lot (as everybody), the online lessons are very well explained and detailed. Despite my engineering background, I learnt a lot in the QUANT section with almost no effort :-)
I hope a good improvement in my gmat score at the end of the month.
Although I am half way through the videos, But till now It is really helpful; For SC verb-ing and verb-ed modifier was really a big help;
RC is my weak area specially inferences but videos and relevant examples made me to understand the concept and approaches well; And exercises helps to internalise the concept and approach as welll as provide an assessment of how well the concepts are perceived by the aspirant;
I am really thankful to e-gmat for providing me an extention with out a cost; I enrolled this program on 31st march and on 3rd April my mom got 60% burnt in a fire-accident in my home town; Since then I had nothing on my to do list other than my mothers health;
Now I want to gear-up and e-gmat is generous to provide me the required extention.
Thank you e-gmat for not only for all awesome contents but also to provide support (in numerous way) to the aspirant.

Dear GMAT club users,
I gave my 1st attempt in May-2015 after 2 week of preparation using OG-2015 and GMAT Prep tests. I scored a score of 720 (Q50 / V38). Then i had to resume my work duties and was extremely busy with work life.
As i was unhappy with my score, and i knew that i had to tackle the Verbal section properly, i decided to get my ESR (Enhanced Score Report) from mba.com to better analyse my weak areas. The ESR was extremely helpful in helping me understand that my weakest area was Sentence Correction, while on the other hand i had a perfect score in RC.
Thus, i decided to take a 2 week vacation and focus all my attention on SC. I enquired with my friends and looked into courseware from many providers. After a day of careful consideration, i decided to go ahead with e-GMATs Verbal online courseware to focus on SC. Best GMAT related decision. Thanks to my friends for this wise advice and thus the reason for this post, to help my fellow GMAT club peers.
Result was a 750 (Q50 / V41) after just 2 weeks of preparation.
Strengths of the courseware:
1) The course is well structured. It ensures that the courseware is presented in a cogent manner. This ensures you don't forget the earlier portions, as you progress with the courseware.
2) I was much more confident in tackling SC questions after completing this coursework. I am sure you would feel the same even in practice tests. Before the start of the courseware, my success rate on SC questions was 50%. After completion of the course, it shot up to 80%.
3) Courseware tackles modifiers very strongly. In my opinion, its the best part of the SC portion in e-GMAT.
4) The articles by Rajat are a must read.
Weaknesses:
1) The courseware in the initial phase seems a bit boring. Ensure that you carry on without losing trust in the courseware. I felt i am going in the wrong direction, in the first two days of the courware. But i was wrong. Be patient.
2) The online videos are good, but some portions/topics need more polishing and better editing.
Overall Rating i would give is 4.5 out of 5.
Thanks e-GMAT.
Regards,
Ekansh.
I was a re-taker who had earlier taken GMAT in April 2014, when I joined e-GMAT in May 2015. More than a year had passed and I wanted to start my GMAT preps from the beginning. Based on reviews provided in GMATClub and after attending some of the live sessions offered by e-GMAT, I decided to join e-GMAT. The three things that make this course special are:
1. The clear-cut strategies for every question type it offers.
2. The course structure, which takes the student from the basics to the advanced level
3. The proficient instructors it has for delivering its live prep courses. Instructors who are good at handling online courses, with several participants and still not compromising on the quality of the course.
In short, E-GMAT live prep course is for anyone who wants to follow a structured approach in their preparations. This course does what it promises to provide and is a really great course for those aiming for decently good score in GMAT.
I got a 650(Q48, V31) in my first attempt. I wanted to better my verbal score. I looked around for the best verbal course and finally settled for Verbal Live Prep by E-GMAT. I am a non-native speaker, so it was important for me to have a course which gets into the weeds of how to identify errors, group answer choices and use the process of elimination to get to the right answer. This is a 3 step process and nobody perfects it better than E-GMAT. They have got very skilled instructors - people who have graduated from some of the top colleges in India and have beat the GMAT. They know the GMAT game.
I was able to improve by verbal score by 2 points to a 33 and scored a 680(Q49, V33). I could have better utilized the resources if I had more time off from my very demanding job. Anybody looking to get better in the verbal section, needs to subscribe to E-GMAT's verbal course.
After giving GMAT couple of times, I was clueless as how to increase my verbal score. After lot of efforts my verbal score didn't improve. In the meantime, I read about e-GMAT - a course for natives. Out of curiosity, I decided to attend the free session for SC. It was something I was really looking for. I was so impressed with the SC free session that I decided to attend the free CR and RC session. After attending the session, I got the confidence that I can still improve in Verbal section. I enrolled for Verbal Live prep. The best thing about the course is the explanation.
SC - After going through the SC course I realized the importance of meaning. The explanations, the LIVE sessions are really worth attending. All the concepts required for the GMAT are well covered and I feel more confident while solving SC questions. My accuracy improved from 50% to ~85% but more importantly I eliminate answers for a specific reason. Thanks e-GMAT for helping me out.
CR - Critical reasoning was one of my strengths, but after attending the prethinking session, time required to solve the CR question went down drastically. e-GMAT CR course provides a systematic approach, which is required to be successful in GMAT. I hope this approach will really help me to save time, which I can use for other difficult problems.
RC - This is the section that troubled me the maximum. However, the method of reading the passage (as explained by e-GMAT) has helped to understand the passage better. If I need to tell in terms of percentage improvement, RC will stand first. I still need to improve my accuracy and timing to get my desired score in GMAT.
I will be writing my exam in ~15 days from now. I hope I can improve on RC and excel in SC and CR to get a score in the range of ~38-40.

GMAT (2nd Attempt: 28 Aug)740
Q 50 V 39 IR 8 AWA 6
After my first attempt in GMAT (690) , I realized i didn’t have a structured approach for my GMAT preparation. When i bumped into Rajat's free webinar about strategies to score 750+, i was impressed with the content of the course. After going through the reviews in gmatclub for the Verbal live prep, i quickly enrolled for it.
Content: this is the best part of the VLP course of eGMAT. They have dissected every possible concept of SC, RC and CR to the minutest level that you absolutely need no other additional material other than OG.
Even after completing OG and MGMAT SC twice during my preparation, I had a lot of scope for improvement in the SC Section after completing the SC Course.
Weekend Webinars: Helps you be on track with the study schedule provided by eGMAT. The discussions are very useful for first timers. the instructors are very friendly and knowledgeable.
They quickly address your concerns both in the classes as well as in the eGMAT forums.
Ability Quizes & Workshops: Very useful in finding out where you stand after you complete the course. I completed these workshops at the very end of the course and it helped me address issues such as timing.
Scholarnium: The best resource of high quality questions with detailed solutions. The responses are well analyzed with respect to timing and difficult level
My only suggestion to the eGMAT team is to explore the possibility of including more questions in the weekend classes.
Overall, i am extremely satisfied with this course. It was one of the main reasons why i had a significant jump in my GMAT verbal score.
