I decided to give e-GMAT course a try after reading many positive reviews and improvements in verbal section of the Gmat on this forum. My weakest section was sentence correction. On average my accuracy was only 40-50% before taking the course. With the help of e-GMATs guided approach I was able to increase my accuracy to 70-80% in sentence correction. I started off with sentence correction section and followed up with SC live sessions. Live sessions were incredible since it helped me clear all my doubts. I followed up with SC practice to strengthen my SC skills. The critical reasoning section also helped me strengthen my score in critical reasoning. Critical reasoning accuracy increased from 75% to 90%.

Hi,
Before starting with the review, let me tell you about the circumstances in which I opted for e-GMAT Quant Live Prep.
I am an 34 yr old Engineer, who last spent times with books some 7 yrs.back. While I decided to take the GMAT exam, I was not sure whether my maths fundamentals are still strong.
I enrolled for Verbal Live prep in July 2014 (Quant Live prep was not launched by that time). I was so impressed with the methodology adopted by e-GMAT that I subscribed for QLP, as soon as it was launched.
What I had observed that many of more worried about our Verbal Score and take the Quant section for granted. Some of my friends stuck to Q46-Q47, while scoring a decent V40. Had they invested a little time on Quant, their GMAT score had boosted by 30-40 points. Since, I did not wanted to take a chance, I opted for QLP.
The first session with Rajat Sir was an eye opener. The session started with some warm up question and continuosly the difficulty level kept going up. The course seriously targets for 49-51 in Quant section.
Most of the classes were taken by Ms. Japinder, who was quite patient with students, even after marathon sessions of 3 hrs.
Over the time QLP kept on adding more n more question in every section. The assement section, which includes Advance Test really tests your nerves.
All in all, QLP is really good to start from scratch and to reach at the toughest level the GMAT tests.
Hello,
I have joined Quant Live Prep Course with a plane slate, it has been almost 10 years when I left college and needed to brush up all my basics, it became really a task to concentrate and to start the study. As I am a busy profession I needed a structured approach for my study and that is when I got to know about the Quant Live Prep, it has given me solid start discussing all nuances of maths that you need to crack the GMAT, it discusses the concepts in such a manner that you really imbibe the learning. I believe cracking GMAT depends a lot on how you study, you may be good but may not be able to crack the GMAT Quant, that is when you require a course which is well crafted.
While the course discusses the fundamentals in detail in its video lesson, the live session teaches you how to solve the tough 700 level questions. Overall the course is really great and the best part is that you can learn whenever you want, on the go, in the car while travelling to office – good one for busy professionals.
A small suggestion/request to the EGMAT team, Please introduce a Scholaranium for Quant as well at the earliest.
Thanks EGMAT for making study easy for busy people..
Happy Learning..
Regards
E-gmat verbal live course is the best gmat course for non native speakers.Egmat verbal live course was the first gmat course purchased by me.The course starts with basics of every topic and then there is a test at the end of every topic. There is also a concept review test at the end of few topics. The topics are animated in power point presentation format which ensures that the course learner learns in a lucid way and never gets bored of learning. It is the best inteactive course available in the market.I have also subscribed to other courses but i found the egmat course really help me grasp concepts easily.I have improved from 570 in my first attempt to 610 in my third attempt by using egmat course.I would recommend egmat to every gmat test taker whose preparation is at beginner level.
I registered for the E-GMAT course after 3 times failure of reaching 700+ GMAT. I was not happy with my score which is ranging from 600 to 670 in the most 3 recent times, and I decided to retake with the secret blade - E-GMAT . Prior to this, I did not believe in any course because I can achieve 750-760 while taking mock test at home. So, I thought that I can do so in the previous test, but I'm wrong. Personally, I feel that e-gmat is closed and detailed in explaining both RC and CR that I got the most improvement in the 4th test. After one month, I got 700 GMAT, and now I want to aim higher with the knowledge I learned from e-GMAT. Thanks to e-gmat! My next GMAT exam happens in the next one week. I am totally believed that I will get the 750+ this time because the first time I used e-GMAT, I even tried one half of the course.
I am a non-native with an accounting background. I decided to sign-up for e-gmat after going through manhattan gmat, OG and felt that I was still not prepared to take the test. I tried the trial version and was impressed by the ease of delivery and key take-aways explained for each and every concept. The meaning based approach to attempting gmat questions, I feel is the right approach to take for maximizing success. The team is also very responsive of queries raised and they make sure all doubts are resolved asap. I feel glad to have taken the course and feel confident of doing well on the test. Thank you e-gmat!
I found the E-gmat verbal course to be extremely helpful.
I always found GMAT verbal to be tough especially the sentence correction section.
No matter how many times I learned the concepts I was never confident when it came to GMAT verbal
After reading a review in GMAT club forum I tried the free trials of e-gmat free and immediately signed up for the SC cource
E-GMAT helped me to understand the nuances of SC- sentence structure, meaning and spotting the errors. The whole course was presented in a structured manner making it very easy to understand.
Another major advantage in EGMAT were the live session where I got to interact and learn from not only the instructors but also from the other participants as well
I would like to set the background, in terms of who I am so that some of you can better co-relate.
->I am serving a role of Technical Architect with a reputed MNC with more than 10yrs of experience.
->Born in a remote corner of India.
->Worked more than 8 yr across world in US, UAE, Europe.
->English is not my mother tongue.
So why i took e-GMAT Verbal Online,
Does these questions sounds familier to you...
1. I can solve question if given ample amount of time.
2. My answer is right but i don't know why is this right.
3. Why other options are wrong.
4. I need to be atleast Einstein to solve this question :-). This verbal question went right over the head.
5. I have all the responsiblities in the world need anytime/anywhere detail access.
I knew since beginning but got confirmation after my first attempt 640 (Q51,V26) that I need to find answer to above question before I can expect to see 700+ score.
That's when after research on gmatclub i enrolled into e-GMAT. Please note I am still preparing and will be taking next attempt shortly in few months.
e-GMAT Verbal Online on its new platform offers.
1. Detailed analysis or question, not only why current answer is correct but also other options are wrong. (at times process of elimination works better)
2. A lot of things i learned experience, but experience takes time. In this course i learned all those things quickly such as cause effect relattionship and how it can be used in assumption, weakening and in strengthening question.
3. Learned short cut method to focus better and quickly for finding solution.
4. Best thing i learned is for the questions where i can zero on between 2 options, I can see improvements in selecting the correct options.
5. I can't join classes since my time is not fixed due to job, so e-Gmat's e-platforms works best for me giving me access anywhere.
I am sure i'll be coming back shortly with more detailed review and with my final score. I'm not going to settle till i get the best of me. My first attempt score is not my reflection for sure.
I have my GMAT score in 2012 and get 570 (Q46, V23). At that time, I took another GMAT course. Based on the score, I realized that I am weak at verbal section. The root cause is lack of experience in learning English, so that I don't understand the basic of English. It's even more difficult because English is not my first language and my work do not relate with English literature.
E-gmat is not only help me with GMAT verbal question but also building my basic English foundation. If the foundation is strong then moving forward is easier. The way of e-gmat approach a question in GMAT is also effective. It encourages us to understand the meaning and then aim the problem specifically. Firstly, it seems too complicated and takes too much time, but as soon as we expert the approach, it makes us better and better. I haven't seen any better approach in solving GMAT verbal problem than this approach.
I haven't retaken my official GMAT test but my GMAT test prep score increased 30 points.
EGMAT SC is really helpful, within 4 days, i was able to observe a drastic change in my way of approach to SC questions. As GMAT SC questions now deal with meaning issues, we have to get a clear idea on what the sentence conveys before approaching the problem and the e-gmat approach for solving SC problems does just this.
1. Understand the meaning of the sentence
2. Identify the errors in the original sentence
3. Eliminate answer choices
CR section has also excellent method of prethinking which improves drasticallyboth accuracy as well as timing
I give 5 out of 5 to egmat verbal course..its amazingly helpful..Tauqir..
