Thanks to E-gmat that I have been able to improve my score from V32-V40. E-gmat gave me a sense of realisation and made sure that I knew the answer of WHY to evry concept. The presentations make sure that you capture and visualise and the SC Course helps gain insights. For a non-native speaker I shall surely recommend EGmat for not just SC but also RC and CR. E-Gmat is very interactive and the answers to queries posted are swift. Scholarnium also enables you to judge and improve accordingly.
3 step CR process and Pre-thinking did make me sharpen my CR and RC skills.

So I gave the GMAT in January 2017 and scored 640(Q-48, V-28). It wasn't good but wasn't bad considering I gave the exam only after a month's preparation. However I was getting more in Verbal during my preps, I guess I goofed up the starting questions.

I had read about e-GMAT on various forums and since I had to work on my verbal skills, I decided to give it a shot.

I purchased their Verbal Live Prep program (although I did not attend the live online sessions as I did not really felt a need for them). Here are the features I really liked about their program:

-The program has been made very interesting by using interactive and colourful videos. The videos start from the basic concepts and lead to the level which is needed for the exam. I actually used to make handwritten notes which would help me revise. Though, the videos also contain summary slides which you can view to revise the main points of the topic.

-You get post-assessment quiz after every lesson so you can make sure you have grasped the topic well.

-Apart from these quizzes, you get a lot of practice questions to test your level of improvement. You can very well keep a track of your performance.

-Coming on to the individual sections:
1)RC: I had earlier been advised to just read first and last lines of the passage and start answering the questions straight away. But this way I could not mark the correct answers as I could not understand the passage well and I also had to go back and forth between the options and passage several times. This caused me to perform poorly in RC. But with e-GMAT's approach, I would read the passage once, make note of main points and important words and then go about my questions. This lead to a significant increase in my RC accuracy. And with practice, I learned to do it in time.

2)CR: e-GMAT's approach of pre-thinking is amazing. I can't emphasize enough the importance of taking just a few seconds to think of the answer before approaching the options. It increased my accuracy and reduced the time I took to solve them.

3)SC: e-GMAT's approach of first understanding the meaning of the sentence, instead of jumping on to the options right away, is a freakin' goldmine. The answers come so naturally after understanding the meaning.

I am all set to give my GMAT again. My Verbal score in test preps has gone up to V41. All thanks to e-GMAT for their amazing course. Will share the result.

Thank you for reading until the end.
All the best to you all!!

Its the best option available if anyone wants to improve their verbal score. I was able to increase 4 points from the previous score. The sentence correction module in the course is the best Gives you structured and detailed concepts . Also the scholaranium is one of the best adaptive platform. You can see your score improve gradually from time to time. The full length tests which we get with the course is not good . You may use other options like MGMAT. Also for math you get the GMAT club tests which are more than enough to prepare for math. I was able to improve my score in a span of 2 months. The CR and RC modules are also pretty decent .

EGMAT Verbal live Prep: Finding order in chaos

After struggling with other competitive exams in India, i realised i was not doing so well in Quant sections of these exams. But there was a pattern, i did exceptionally well in Verbal part. So I did my research and planned to appear for GMAT, after a good work experience.

Like everybody i did the Official guides and attempted 2 mocks and appeared for the exam, to my horror i scored too low in the Verbal section. I took some advice from friends and tried all sorts of ways to get better in Verbal. I struggled for an year with the right material and was in desperate need for help. I researched even more, and bought some international prep material, which proved to be of little help. I was struggling with the preparation and my recently changed job profile made it worse.

I came across EGMAT Verbal live course, i liked the approach, the course streamlines all the grammar topics, categorizes the critical reasoning questions and helps with Reading comprehension on a much deeper level of insight. I made comprehensive notes, excel sheets of each topic capturing the gist and errors.
Approach is the key here, there is no point practicing questions without observing the pattern and pre-thinking (linking facts and anticipating results). Here the course structure comes in handy.
The Live sessions not only help you to get in touch with the faculty but also clear the air regarding strategies.

Finally, i would like to point out that my accuracy rate was high but my time strategy was weak, i was not able to reach the end of the verbal section. Here prethinking comes into the picture, now i am able to finish the section with great confidence. In terms of scores, i scored V19 in the verbal (official figure), now in mocks (which are fairly true reflection of final score) i am consistently scoring in the range of 32-38 (To me that is huge). I have booked a date and will soon share the final numbers.

I would definitely recommend this course especially to those who have wasted their time and money in other sources and failed to get results.

Thank you so much guys, now i feel more confident and better prepared.

Scholaranium is a great help while practicing questions efficiently. Instead of just practicing random question, Scholaranium allows me to focus on my weak areas. I take a diagnostic tests and receive detailed analysis of it. Based on this analysis, I choose my practice questions from scholaranium. I continue to practice that sub section questions until I hit my target score in that sub-section. Then I retake the diagnostic tests and follow this approach to the next weaker area. Its important for me to get continuous feedback while practicing questions. This feedback enables me to focus my efforts towards the areas where I will benefit most by improving; Scholaranium is just the right tool for this purpose.

I am a non native GMAT aspirant who has an art background and weak in both the section of gmat. i started my gmat preparation 8 months back. I remember i used to struggle a lot in verbal section, be it sentence correction , critical reasoning or RC ;all used to give me hard time. It made me lose hope for a good score in GMAT exam. I didn’t know how i should improve my knowledge in both the section especially for verbal. I never used to pick right answer for right reasons and always believe in those options which sounded correct to my ears and wasn't bothered about subject verb, modifiers, idioms etc.i referred many books with thousands of grammar rules which was impossible for me to remember. Same with Quant books, many formulae and concepts.i wasn’t sure what to read and what not. I couldn’t filter myself .
Luckily i shared this problem to one my friend ,he suggested to join Egmat. I searched about it and went through the trial videos and some other. I found it best suitable for me. As it audio video option helped me to understand the concepts well. i joined the EGMAT-live prep course. Which consist both verbal and quant sections. The course is very comprehensive and holistic in nature. The concepts are taught in a very simplistic manner and the quizzes are very helpful to understand how the concepts are tested.
when i compare the results of no. Of questions i used to correct during the initial time of preparation and today, there is a huge difference. I have improved a lot.
The best part of the program is the Scholaranium. It has question ranging from easy to hard topic and one can easily refresh the entire course through them.Further ,it helps one to understand one's strength and weakness.
I am Planning to take my GMAT test after weeks and i hope i would score my target score.

I would like to thank Egmat and its team and hopefully these concepts learned from e-gmat will help achieving my target score .
I Would Definitely Recommend E GMAT live prep Course to anyone who is non native and looking to improve his GMAT score.
Thanks,
Lok

Being an Indian GMAT aspirant , Verbal was my night mare. To overcome this problem I signed up for e-GMAT verbal online course and this helped me score 39 in verbal which I was very happy with. The SC section was particularly helpful as I need the most help in SC area. Th videos were really good in terms of covering the basics and the structured approach was helpful in developing a sense of understanding of the topics. I will definitely recommend this all the people who think they are week in Verbal, The CR section could have been better and I was able to find better resources elsewhere for CR. I would request the e-GMAT team to work on their CR content specially interms of the example problems they are using in their material.

Effective preparation course for any student.By making an effective study plan this definitely is a great guide for any GMAT test taker. Although my final score took a bombdrop I am not in a position to conclude that the course is ineffective at all for I feel I just did not use the effectiveness of the material as my exams approached but it help me in realizing where I stand with my Verbal & Math . The reason for myself asking for an extension is I am pretty sure the course will help me further to analyze the indepths of the exam and make me score much higher and reach my target score for which from my end I will have to be preparing effectively too on a regular basis .

I will definitely recommend the EGMAT course to any GMAT exam taker

I gave my GMAT in July and i remember absolutely dreading the Sentence correction section of the test 2 months before the exam.I could see that even after doing well on the initial tests i was not able to cross the 620 mark .This was very surprising for me as i scored 590 without any preparation.

Even after going through Manhattan guides twice,i was not able to score well in verbal as i was not able to apply any of those concepts while i was solving the questions .That is when GMATCLUB came to my rescue,i looked for courses that could specifically help me with my SC situation and i found my answer with e- GMAT SC course.

This particular course not only explains every bit of grammar that is tested in the GMAT in a very simple manner but also keeps you informed about your progress by testing you after every concept with GMAT like questions. I realised that after taking the course my approach towards looking at problems changed,i could now understand why an answer was correct or incorrect.

The best feature of this course is that after every topic OG questions that are related to the topic are explained thoroughly in their videos .This helps you to understand if your approach to the problem is correct, specifically in GMAT questions. This boosts your confidence if you are going in the right direction or helps you by showing you the red flag if your answer is right but the reasoning is incorrect.

For anybody who is looking for a course specifically focused on SC just check out their free trial i am sure they will impress you to take up their course.

I was able to hit the 650 mark with their help,i hope i will cross 700 next month in my next attempt.

In my preparation for GMAT, I really appreciate the e-GMAT material. The learning methodology is really good as it takes care of the learning curve of a non-native English speaker. After each concept you will get some practice questions which strengthens your concept in a really strong way. Verbal Online material is really, really awesome!!
I have gone through number of study materials but I found e-GMAT the best.
All the questions are thoughtfully made and structured. I think e-GMAT team would have spent lot of hours to define such high quality questions. I have studied lot of material and I found almost all fresh questions in e-GMAT. Hats off to the team….
The scholaranium, set of practice questions, is really helpful as it also helps to analyses your performance on timing and accuracy in different areas of verbal and quant. The detailed analysis can then be used to focus on weak areas. Complete material of e-GMAT has been thoughtfully strategized, defined and then laid out.
As I am preparing for GMAT and appearing on Nov 4th, I hope to get a good score!!
