AI Super-Summary of Customer Reviews for Magoosh*

Magoosh is a valued test prep platform praised for its affordability, structured approach, and clear, concise video lessons which simplify complex concepts. Users appreciate its challenging practice questions, effective score predictor, and a user-friendly interface that aids in keeping track of progress. While its math section is particularly strong, providing great foundational knowledge and problem-solving strategies, the verbal section may not satisfy advanced learners. The package, perceived as a cost-effective solution, is recommended for beginners or individuals needing a refresher, but users seeking more in-depth verbal resources may need additional support. Overall, Magoosh is considered a comprehensive preparatory aid with excellent support and resource materials.

Not so great for people who at 500 level, I found the material to cover basic stuff, if you are looking for high scores from 49 to 51 in Quant, than you will have to add go ahead and add few more material to your kitty, maths is still okay the question were good, difficult questions were lengthy but not subtle like gmat has, however verbal was below average the solutions for sentence correction were not so great, i recollect choices in Sentence Correction were rejected on the basis of whether they were awkward or not, and the quality of Sentence correction questins wwerent that great either. I wasnt very happy.

After finishing my undergraduate degree in business, I started preparing for the GMAT. My friends have used Magoosh for other exams, such as GRE and TOEFL, and they all have received positive results from the materials. Therefore, I decided to give it a try.

Though I was fresh out from university, I still went through the entire verbal and quant course and did 90% of the practice questions, along with OGs and Manhattan Prep books. However, the questions appeared on the exam were at least 10 times more difficult than the ones from Magoosh.

Magoosh is an amazing platform if you are out of school for a couple of years and have forgotten everything about maths, yet it is not an exam oriented platform. Magoosh could be used to refresh your memories, but it should never be used by itself.

Hi, thanks for your feedback on it. I have heard that Manhattan was very good for high scores, though you used both Manhattan and Magoosh, how would you describe the resource difference ?

While the course could be great, the lack of structure costs it big. The website needs a defined course to help students learn the proper material. It also depends far too heavily on outside material (OG Guide, Manhattan Prep, etc.)

Overall, the lack of study guidance coupled with the courses poor structure led me to this review. I invested hours upon hours of studying into this course with no improvement to my score. Even though the price is so low, one would still expect some amount of a score increase.

I would strongly recommend a more robust course for those seeking a moderate score improvement.
