Awesome instructor team - Really intelligent and patient individuals. Also easily approachable via email. You can get your doubts clarified.
Easy to follow - Course is paced and structured well. Important concepts are stressed and summarized at the end of every video. There are quizzes after every concept. This really helped.
Pricing is reasonable - I think this might be a considerable factor for most. Refer to their official page, you will find some nice addons like mocks and more.
This is a good product, these guys got everything right. Their renewed platform v2.0 makes it even better. All you need to do is to complete this course.
Hello
Initially when I started preparing I realized verbal was not that easy as I thought. There were many grammar rules that had to be brushed up. e-GMAT helped me with that. The best part about e-GMAT is that the way the concepts are explained it makes the student confident and also improves his verbal skills. It starts with the basics and eventually take you to a more advanced concepts. I could see the difference in my approach towards the Verbal section after taking the course. I would strongly recommend e-GMAT course.
Best Part about e-GMAT :
1. Covers everything
2. Every concept has a practice set
3.Can go through the lessons at your own will and own understanding
Suggestion :
1. Add few more practice questions
I could not improve my CR Score by study guides only . It was clear to me in MAY that I needed something extra to boost my score. I thought of taking a prep course but was not sure if it was worth it. I tried a small company that was highly recommended on this forum but that did not help either. Finally, in MAY end, I tried e-GMAT. I started with their sentence correction free trial. I had thought that I knew all there was to know in SC, but after doing a few concepts, I realized that I was mistaken. I knew the concepts all right but I still had not learned how to apply them. For example, I had not realized the ways in which Verb-ing modifiers could be used till I went through the concept in the course. I felt the same as I went through Verb tenses and parallel structures etc. I felt that the eGMAT course was a lot easier to comprehend than MGMAT SC. 10 days later I upgraded to the CR Complete. I found the CR course to be reallly good. The Prethinking approach is just awesome – makes CR questions very enjoyable. Their coverage on evaluate (I did get a few questions) is probably the most comprehensive that I have found in any book. The live sessions were excellent but they cover only the more challenging problems. One other thing that I liked about their live sessions was that the community is quite interactive. In addition to learning from the instructors, you also learn from their community members. Overall, I would attribute my improvement from greatly to egmat. I am glad I found the course. I'm already seeing an improvement in my verbal accuracy. Thanks to e-gmat! My next GMAT exam is 1 month away, I'll continue to spend time going through their content!
Perhaps e-gmat is the best course available in the market for non-natives, particularly for Indians. People like me who are quant savvy but weak in verbal should indeed go for this. They have done an extensive research into the exam, exploiting every bit of its structure and syllabus that there is a seamless flow of thought in their material and every bit of what they teach is relevant- no fillers at all. Moreover, egmat's content is one of the most updated ones available in the market; they tune their course content periodically. Without e-gmat I couldn't have scored a 700+ in Gmat
Overall it was a nice experience. Kudos to the team. A nice innovation.
Hi,
I took GMAT in 2012 with a short preparation of one month, I got 610 (V26, Q48). After that, I have not tried up to Apr’14 for some other personal reasons. I thought of taking GMAT again, I started practicing verbal ( As it is my weak area), using OG and other commonly available books. I didn’t find any improvement in my verbal score.
As I am working, I don’t get time in single stretch for studies and there used to be breaks in continuity. Whenever I started my preparation, I used to find the same trivial materials without comprehensive information. Ultimately I did not find much improvement in my verbal skill.
Then, One of my friend suggested me to buy the E-gmat verbal live prep course. I bought it in may’14. I have completed the entire course and attended all live sessions and workshops. This time, because e-gmat course is structured and well presented, I could complete the course with the motivation that I can track my progress of learning. Above all strategies for answering the question are helped me a lot. Best things to achieve the very good accuracy are understanding the meaning, POE , identifying scope in CR and RC, eliminating obvious wrong answer choices in CR. Strategies for Reading also helped me to improve my comprehension and reduce time required for reading the passage.
After completion of course, I could not believe myself. I made at least 80% accuracy in wide range of materials, including OG, Veritas prep material.
After completion of course, my next target was to complete the test in time. Initially, I took at least 3:30 min for every question, because of that I could hardly complete any test, but my accuracy was around 80%. After attempting the test strategy live session at the end of the course, I could guide myself in achieving takt time. I purchased OG question pack and practiced as suggested in the session. Slowly, I improved my time from 3:30 min to 2:00 Min on average now.
Last month, I started taking full length tests. I got V 38 in 800 score tests, V 36 in GMAT club and V34 in GMAT prep.
Now I am practicing my Quant and IR at the same time I am practicing to improve 4-6 point improvement in verbal. I am planning to take GMAT in mid Jan’15.
I am very thankful to e-gmat. In my hectic work schedule also I could improve my verbal base line from 26 to 36 by sparing very less time. I hope with some more practice I could make it V40 (my goal V40-41, Q51).
I have to say that taking this course has been the best choice that I have made regarding verbal GMAT prep courses.
One year ago, I took a different verbal course with no significant improvement. My score in verbal was between 19 and 22 points. Then, I realized that I needed a course for people who english was not their first language. After my research, I found e-GMAT. The most incredible is that, in only 1 month, my verbal score improved and reached a score of 33 points in my mock tests.
I truly recommend this course, and I hope you enjoy studying in the same way I did.
I enrolled for the e-gmat course on Apr 11, 2014 after completing the GMAT in Feb 2014. I was not happy with my score, and decided to sign up. Prior to this, I went with a classroom course of a famous company, have also finished MGMAT SC book and powerscore CR book. I see a clear difference between e-gmat and all other resources available. Personally, I feel that e-gmat is more detailed in teaching both SC ,CR and RC. It teaches you the application, not just the rules The live sessions are great. Payal does a great job answering questions and going through the content. I am glad I found the course. I'm already seeing an improvement in my verbal accuracy. Thanks to e-gmat! My next GMAT exam is a month away.I have gone through the preview of e scholar and found it soo helpfull and will purchase the complete course. I'll continue to spend time going through their content!
I was advised to use e-gmat for my verbal prep by a Columbia Alum. So I took it up straight away after being on a few of Rajat's free sessions. This is when I decided to take e-gmat.
What I totally loved were the examples and the videos. It made a lot of sense and for someone who was always on the move it was worth every penny. Secondly, when I decided to postpone my exam date they were very helpful in deactivating and then reactivating the subscription.
This course truly gives value for money for the non-native speaker. There are so many small nuances in our English that we always fall in the GMAT traps. Verbal is more important for a good score than is quant.
I had written the GMAT twice, each time I saw minor improvement in my verbal score. After reading various sc articles on gmatclub, for my final attempt I finally decided to jump on E-gmat's verbal course. I competed the SC module and in my view Egmat's SC process has by far been the most effective way for tackling SC. Seeing my improvement in SC, I have also subscribed to RC, CR and Quant.
The website is extremely user friendly and the support provided is excellent. Any emails sent to Egmat is quickly responded to(I never had to wait more then an hour).
I have tried 3 different prep-courses for GMAT preparation before switching to e-GMAT. Being non-native speaker, I always had problem with verbal section, specially SC and RC. I tried all these 3 courses based on review and price and helped me to improve my verbal score from 28 to 32. Although my quant is very good, I always got bad score due to verbal low score. Then I decided to look for courses that target non-natives as we learn English in a differently than native speakers. Then I found e-GMAT and most them had positive reviews and verbal score improvement and most importantly from "NON-NATIVES". I made up my mind to try this and started using it's trial version and liked it immensely and even attended one of the live sessions about verbal strategies from e-GMAT. After this , I was convinced and took Verbal online courses and within 10 days of my practice of 4 hrs a day I found improvements in SC and RC. When I took the mock tests after 20 days, my verbal score was improved to 37-39. I must attribute this improvement to e-GMAT as it helped me to solve verbal questions in methodically. This skill I developed solely due to e-GMAT's thorough and detailed approach in teaching verbal courses. e-GMAT not only teaches the rules but also helps you learn how to apply them in solving the questions. After practicing and learn all the methods my score stands at 41. Thanks to e-GMAT and their excellent course I feel I have learnt effectively and able to tackle GMAT verbal section with confidence. Based on my experience I would recommend e-GMAT verbal online course to anyone having tough time in mastering verbal for GMAT exam.
