The 2017–2018 academic year is in full swing, and students in the Class of 2019 are—hopefully!—settling in nicely for their MBA studies. Around this time of the year, business schools release their latest class profiles to reveal their most recent incoming classes in more detail. Of course, no two classes are exactly alike. Some are smaller in size and enjoy a more intimate environment for their studies, while some are quite large and thus encompass an even greater diversity of students.
We at mbaMission examined the latest class profiles to find out which top-ranked schools welcomed the most sizable enrollments this year. Nearly 1,000 students enrolled at Harvard Business School, putting its Class of 2019 at 928 individuals. The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia Business School were not far behind with 863 and 753 students, respectively. After the top three, class sizes were notably smaller—the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the fourth-largest program this year, welcomed 582 students, and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University’s class consisted of 478 individuals.
