Program: MBA FT
Area of interest Post MBA: IB, Strategy Consulting
GMAT: 710 (47/42, AWA - 6.0) 710 (45/42, AWA - TBD)
GPA: 3.8 undergrad, Double degree - one in Economics and the other in Information Systems (Major GPA's both 3.9+)
School: Private US - ranked around 100 (but habitually in top 5 for Information Systems)
Work experience: 4 years at matriculation. Strategy Consulting (Big 4)
Nationality: Indian - grew up all over the world (France, Italy, Ivory Coast, Haiti, USA, India)
Age: 27 at matriculation
Gender: Male
Extra-curriculars/community: A whole host of things while in University - Founding president of Cultural Diversity Club (principal author of constitution), Revived Cricket Club from having its status revoked due to financial impropriety to captaining it to 2 intercollegiate trophies in 2005. Also received 'Sports Club of the Year Award in 2005' - this may sound trivial but believe me, it continues to be my most satisfying achievement in college and a source of constant joy. Also led student run University Budgetary committee which doled out USD1MN+ (one of the few such structures for an UG institution in the USA at the time) - fought a lot of tough battles and learnt a lot doing that.
Post University - Helped organize a high profile Canada India Energy Conference earlier this year (which played a role in a major nuclear energy memorandum between the two countries) and involved in corporate fund raising with a North American charity focused on building boarding schools for underprivileged children in rural India.

Schools I intend to apply to:

Harvard: Round 1
Status: Denied w/o interview

Wharton: Round 1
Status: Waitlisted

INSEAD: Round 1
Status: Accepted

Ivey: Round 1
Status: Accepted + $$
