Hey guys,
I'm about 3 weeks, coming up on 4 weeks of studying. I've been going through the
MGMAT guides and have just completed book 2. I've only been averaging around 60% when I do practice questions in the
OG. Note that I usually only do 2 sets of
OG practice questions per book (about 20 questions) so that I can save the
OG questions for later in my studies. Maybe this is a mistake?
I have also been supporting my studies with
Magoosh videos and practice questions as well as reading the forums. I've been using an
error log on all the problems I get wrong as well as other problems that I'm guessing on, but happen to answer correctly.
Before I get too far down the path of studying, I am wondering which method would be more appropriate:1. Continue to move on to new topics despite only answering about 60% of
OG practice questions correctly. Finish all topics and then come back to really hone in on my weaknesses.
2. Stop moving on to new topics and master each topic until I'm scoring 90% or greater on practice questions.
I have time to really get this right, and I want to make sure that I'm using my time in the most efficient way. Sometimes it seems like it may be better to get a grasp on all the topics before coming back and really driving towards perfection. I really don't know.
Thanks in advance for the insight!
