Dear School Moderators,
(sorry we don't have a school mod forum only so posting this in the open)

We have 3x $1,000 scholarships for Admissions Consulting services for the GMAT Club's School Forum Moderators.

These will be awarded on:
  • Sept 51th (for the period of Aug 1 - Aug 31)
  • Oct 15th (for the period of Sep 1 - Sep 30)
  • Nov 15th (for the period of Oct 1 - Oct 31)

The scholarship is provided by one of the US-based Admissions Consulting companies present on GMAT Club and could be used as a stand-alone credit towards services (e.g. 4 hours of admissions consulting for several draft reviews, strategy sessions, interview prep, resume review, school selection process, really up to you as long as the time lasts) OR as credit towards a larger package. It is basically a giftcard for admissions consulting.

The scholarship will be awarded to the school mod based on the following criteria:
1. Personal engagement
2. Forum performance
3. Referral/nomination of other school moderators (invite friends to be your co-moderators or moderators for other schools)

P.S. For anyone curious, school mods (aka threadmasters) are the people who manage School discussions, update decision tracker, engage with AdCom and Current students about school-related questions, and encourage others. If you want to apply for a school moderator position, you can do that here - https://gmatclub.com/forum/be-the-coole ... 52204.html

I am pleased to announce that the first Admissions Consulting scholarship is going to Arro44. Congratulations!
The award has been granted after a review that has evaluated one's contribution to the forums, applicants, and this community overall. There are 2 more opportunities in October and November.

Arro44, I will be in touch with you about how to use your admissions consulting hours/package.

Thank you
BB, Founder of GMAT Club.

Hello and thank you for your patience with this month's Admissions Consulting $1,000 Scholarship winner!

After some heated debate, the next School Moderator to get a scholarship is variantguy.

Please join me in congratulating Variantguy about this accomplishment and milestone. As a reminder, the scholarship is worth $1,000 with one of the leading US-based Admissions Consulting companies here on GMAT Club!

Runner Ups: RicAssassin aghosh54 and dbsheta - fantastic job! It was really hard to do evaluation and choose just a single person. There will be another opportunity in November!
Congrats everyone and good luck with your applications!
BB.

Thank you so much bb, @Narenn, and the rest of the mods for considering me worthy of this scholarship! I'm humbled and deeply grateful! The GMATClub community has been the single greatest source of inspiration and information in my GMAT/b-school journey, and I'm happy to give back in whatever way I can and hope to continue doing so. Looking forward to putting the scholarship to good use towards realizing my MBA dreams! :)

Cheers, everyone!
