Quick Profile Snapshot:
24-year-old Indian female with 2 years of experience at a 90-year-old non-profit industrial chamber (Chamber of Commerce)
B.Tech (Electronics) – CGPA 9.1/10 and B.A in English | 10th – 89.4% | 12th – 70%
GMAT scheduled for July – targeting 755+
Extensive leadership exposure across 18 sectors, led AI and IoT projects impacting 1000+ SMEs, represented India at a global expo, currently managing a team where we consult small companies on AI for free helping them set up their AI Strategy, involved in startup funding due diligence.
Strong extracurriculars: trained classical dancer (Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Turkish), college magazine editor, research publication
My Goals:
Short-term: Tech consulting (AI, IoT for SMEs)
Long-term: Venture capital focused on emerging markets
Main Questions:
Some counselors said MBA might not be right for me due to only 2 years of work experience—how much of a concern is this in reality?
Given my early but deep leadership exposure, do M7/Ivy League or top European programs like INSEAD, HEC seem within reach?
Which schools best align with my goals in tech consulting and VC?

– Academic background in Mass Communication (UG) and Business Design (PG), but with a low GPA (~2.4)
– Minimal extracurriculars, as most of my time has gone into hands-on leadership roles

This is not a vanity move—I see it as a critical grooming phase. Having focused entirely on real-world execution, I now want to strengthen my core skills and pivot to boutique consulting in the short term, with the long-term goal of building my own practice. I’m also open to VC or innovation-driven startup roles post-MBA.
Would love to get your thoughts on potential fit, narrative, and target schools.
Primarily Targeting US and Canada.
