Wow, you’ve had some great experiences in Peru and abroad. I’m not sure if you have takent the GMAT/GRE/EA yet - a 645+ on GMAT will be helpful and make you competitive for the top programs in this area - as there are fewer applicants from Peru... and with your background... you can stand out of the applicant pool even more. M7 - Booth, Wharton, CBS, NYU, LBS, INSEAD

kailash09876
I am A charter accountant and CFA and SAP certified consultant having work experience of 14+ years in 3 domain 5 years in accounting, 4 in auditing mainly data analysis and 4 years and core sap consulting and analytics

Trying for IIM -A, IIM-B or IIM-C what is the GMAT score range required for interview call in round 2
Typically, 635+ could get you to interview, but with the increased number of candidates avoiding the US, it will likely be more competitive.

Thanks everyone, please reach out - [email protected] if you have additional questions

The MBA Countdown: Why 90 Days Could Make Your Round 2 Application

Every year, thousands of MBA hopefuls set their sights on Round 2 deadlines. For many, it’s the final chance to submit a strong application without waiting another year. But here’s the challenge: by the time September arrives, most applicants are juggling essays, recommendation letters, test prep, and self-doubt, all within a tight window.

What often gets overlooked is that 90 days is enough time to create a competitive MBA application if you approach it strategically. A clear roadmap can help you:
Prioritize the components of your application that carry the most weight.
Avoid common mistakes like rushing essays or choosing the wrong recommenders.
Stay consistent in your personal brand and story across the entire application.
Manage your time effectively to avoid burning out before the finish line.

This September, ARINGO CEO Jenifer Turtschanow will be hosting a live conversation on how to build a strong Round 2 MBA application from zero to submission-ready in just 90 days.
It’s designed as an interactive coffee chat, a chance to learn strategies, ask questions, and hear what really makes applicants stand out in Round 2.

Date: September 20, 2025
Time: 9 PM IST | 11:30 AM ET

Click here to register for the session

Whether you’re just starting your application or refining your final drafts, these next 90 days could determine the strength of your MBA journey.

Your profile is really solid — I’d put it around 4/5 overall. You’ve got great academics (IIM Cal + NIT + 740 GMAT), strong career progression at Bajaj, and a nice mix of extracurriculars. The only thing holding you back a bit is the common “male/Indian/engineer+MBA” bucket, but your first-gen rural South India story is a very unique angle that can really stand out if you lean into it.

On schools:

Kellogg + Yale MAM → best fits for your goals (Kellogg = consulting powerhouse, Yale MAM = designed for second MBAs).

Emory + Tepper → safer bets but still strong choices.

Overall, with the right storytelling in your essays, you’ll be competitive across this list.

Hi all - I’m based in Chicago and targeting PTMBA programs at Booth, Kellogg, and then Ross(Fall of 2026).

Expected GMAT Score - 645

Profile:

AI Engineering Lead at a Fortune 20 healthcare company

Led an LLM based project covered in Fortune magazine (our CEO discussed it)

Indian applicant: 69% in undergrad (topper was 75%), MS in Data Science with 3.8 GPA

Two promotions in 3 years + multiple performance awards

Will join two ERGs (Disability & Asian) next month so will have enough to say about them

Undergrad extracurriculars (drama + prize)

Given my current mock scores, do I have a realistic shot at PTMBA for these schools, or should I aim higher for GMAT?

I am not looking to Pivot. Want to advance in healthcare and be on side of AI/Engineering Strategy/product.

Sorry YOE is 8 years.
