1) I think that your goal sounds reasonable but product management is very competitive. You’ll want to make sure you highlight any leadership or management experience you’ve had. If you think you can improve the GMAT, I’d encourage you to give it a second shot.
2) Your school list is thoughtful. You could consider a reach school or two if applying in R1, like CBS or Wharton. May want to include Darden.
3) and 4) You should be engaging with these schools by joining virtual events, and if appropriate, connecting with ad com members. And continue to be thoughtful about the management of people or projects in your current role.

1) You’ll want to focus on your strengths which will be your operations mgmt experience. Your years of work experience are going to be on the lower end of average which you’ll need to overcome with a stronger test score and applying early. The GMAT is good, but if you think another shot could result in a slightly higher score, i’d encourage you to do so. These schools will have either need-based or merit-based aid, so make sure you familiarize yourself with which the school offers, and try to align your messaging if your merit meets their merit criteria. Whether or not your profile is suitable to get into these programs depends heavily on your GMAT score and what kind of applications you put together (we can help here via our comprehensive services). A 740 or above will be appropriate for T20, but obviously the top tier would prefer a higher score.
With regards to weakness, again if you’re earning a 740+ on GMAT, that’s ideal, but your work experience jumps around a little, so you’ll want to be thoughtful in how you develop your narrative that ultimately leads to a career in consulting.

Coming from GS is going to be a strength for you, as well as global exposure, however your job title would suggest very little management experience, so think about how you will highlight this. The 740 is good, and you’ll also want to highlight your post graduate diploma in many of the application, as diversity and inclusion are top of mind. Stanford is going to be your absolute reach school, but all of the others seem reasonable. I’d suggest round one for as many as possible. Familiarize yourself with the type of scholarships the schools provide (i.e. merit vs. need-based).
