Did anyone who applied to Ross via Consortium R2 get an interview invite? It seems like the second wave of interview invites went out. Pretty sad to not hear anything back.

Also, has anyone heard back from Haas at all?

I have heard back with interview invites from UNC Kenan Flagler and UCLA Anderson.

Haas and Stern confirmed my application on Monday and they are both under review now. Not sure what the turnaround time is for an interview invite. I think they try to interview all Consortium candidates on the same day for Stern.

For those consortium applicants to Cornell Johnson, does your application portal say "schedule interview"? Mine has been like this for a couple weeks now and I still haven't received an email to confirm an invitation to interview. I read on their website that their consortium interview superday is Feb 10th (next Friday). It seems very strange to me that they haven't reached out with a formal interview invite, given that their superday about 10 days away. I wonder if my "Schedule Interview" status is a mistake...

On another note, I also read on the "Calling all Cornell Johnson Applicants Class of 2019" thread on this website that ALL consortium applicants to Cornell Johnson get invited to interview, regardless of stats/profile, which doesn't make any sense to me. Can anyone confirm or debunk this?

I'm not sure if that's the case but perhaps their view is that numbers alone don't tell the whole story and by having a score cut off they can lose out on a diamond in the rough. I personally didn't apply to Cornell during my R1 apps. I regret it, as they personally called me to go to their diversity weekend last fall.

It's incorrect that all Consortium applicants are invited to interview. All applicants who attended Johnson Means Business (JMB)- their diversity conference that took place in October 2016 are invited to interview. This includes but is not limited to Consortium applicants. There will be some Consortium applicants who did not attend JMB, who will not be invited. It's very strange that your portal says schedule interview if you haven't received an interview invite. I would reach out to the admissions team to inquire if it's a glitch or if your interview invite did, in fact, get lost in cyberspace.

Good luck!!!

Just called and confirmed it was in fact lost in cyberspace. They just resent the invite. Whew, that's a big relief... :o

I have submitted my round two application last Jan. It has been finally released to the schools, one of my recommenders took longer than expected and caused my application to be delayed for a bit.

My profile:

30+ years old
Multi-Ethnic
3.4 GPA
Non-native English speaker
Engineering UnderGrad
Applied to five schools
Took GRE (167 Quant, 158 Verbal) >> Any idea if this is a good score?

Still waiting to hear back, cross your fingers

Good luck y'all

I didn't apply in R2 but did during R1 I heard from them on 11/11 and I got my application received confirmation about 10/20 from the consortium so it took about 22 days if that helps.

Thanks that helps! The Consortium released my application on the 20th of January, but have not heard from Olin stating that they'd received my application. I was hoping to bundle a few in-person interviews together in the Midwest, but it sounds like I'll have to conduct this one over Skype since I haven't heard back from them.

Yea I think Wash U doesn't send an application received confirmation; the first correspondence I got was for my interview. Kelley did the same thing as well in case that's another data point for you. Good luck bro.

So I received an email from Olin stating that they received my application and they also provided a link to a webinar put on by their admissions staff titled "App Tips: Ultimate Interview Guide." I'll take it that this is a good sign?

My status for Tuck is "In Progress" and I haven't receive a confirmation email from them yet. Processing my application may be a low priority because I interviewed with them already in the fall for Women's Weekend.

Are you talking about invites that were reported specifically for consortium applicants? They may send out in buckets. I'm also waiting to hear back as a R2 applicant.

I think I saw 1 consortium Yale SOM applicant receive an invite (that posted in this thread) so who knows what percent of their invites are out. However, Yale SOM tends to release invites more evenly proportioned up until late February (as opposed to other schools that send all invites in 1,2, or 3 specific dates and that's it).

To your other question, there is a thread in this forum analyzing a sample of GMAT Club members and they concluded that (depending on the school) acceptance after interview hovers at around 40-60% for most schools in the top 20, some even less and some even more. I don't remember what Yale SOM was but i want to guess it was around 50%.
