Hey, there is not a fixed timeline there, despite interview invites start rolling earlier, they need to assess each candidate vs others (so they will weigh your assessment against the one from other candidates that may have not been interviewed yet).

The latest resolution should be May the 6th, but it may be that they start rolling some admits two weeks before that.

Again, there is nothing you can do now but wait for the outcome, so don’t overthink about it and best of luck!

Regards,
Pablo

Hey.. does the recommender also need to submit their recommendation by the deadline, which is today? Or do they get some extension?

You need to submit your application online by tonight.

You have 48h more to submit the Kira video recordings, the recommenders also have those 48 extra hours to submit their recommendations.

Best of luck!

It is, there were mixed quotes regarding the Kira interviews but not regarding the recommendations, has been consistent for the past years:

Last year's guide:
https://www.insead.edu/sites/default/fi ... 0-2021.pdf
"It is important to note that your referees can submit their letters of recommendation to us at any point
of time and up until 48 hours after the application deadline, you are aiming for."

Same on the previous one: https://www.insead.edu/sites/default/fi ... 9-2020.pdf

by any chance would anybody have INSEAD sample KIRA questions list? Maybe collected from candidates’ debriefs?

MBAPrepCoach already did a nice post with some tips & a big list:

https://gmatclub.com/forum/insead-video ... l#p1815818

MBAPrepCoach

The video interview is basically (and eerily) similar to the TOEFL Speaking section. You get 45 second to prep, 60 seconds to answer. Record yourself as many times as possible!! I have my candidates record themselves, upload to YouTube and send me the link so I can coach them around it.

For the "give me a time" questions use STAR format https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Situation ... on,_Result

The questions are below. Prep a 1-min pitch for each. Eliminate “ums” and stuff - but the key to doing well here is to be as NATURAL as possible.

Do NOT have a script on the screen and “read” from it.
Do NOT sound like a robot who memorized each of the answers.
Do make natural mistakes - it’s charming.
Smile.

And all the basic stuff like dress accordingly, check wifi, be aware of your backdrop. *Do not have posters of naked women on the wall behind you.*

Fellow round 1 applicants, how are you all holding up? As May 6 gets closer and closer I’ve found it much harder to not think about this INSEAD decision - anyone else feeling the same?

I guess we are all a bit anxious, but you cannot do anything about it, so focus on something else. I did not follow my own advice & have been reading about reunions & the Summer Ball as a coworker will be attending for his 5y reunion xd
I was expecting first to get a notice from this week as I interviewed long ago, but I believe an interviewer took longer to submit the feedback so I do not know what to expect now.

Anyway, only two weeks to know the result!
Best of luck!

Pablo

Same boat here guys! Can't focus on work at all and am patiently waiting. When I checked back at January 2022 threads from last year, a lot of people got notice around May 1st to 2nd which we will see how holds up.

Hi,

I am a deferred candidate from 23J (Got admitted in R3). Happy to help if you have any questions with the applications or interviews, feel free to DM :)

All the best for the round 1 applicants - per my experience, you should start receiving calls the week of the date mentioned! (Roughly from about 7 - 8 days before), but don't worry they can stretch on till Wednesday/Thursday as well depending on your region.
