I asked this question to Duke adcom yesterday and they said that they allocate scholarships based on how many spots they offer that year, so even if you get in off the waitlist you can still be offered a scholarship I’m assuming/ hoping it would be similar at other schools

Sure! That happens all the time. A good score doesn’t guarantee you a stop, although a bad one can hurt your chances. spot*

Admitted! I don't have a link to the slack but would love to join it. I didn't receive $$$ but was wondering if Booth has been historically known to match if another school offered scholarship?

Booth doesn’t match other schools’ scholarships. They even stated this when I asked for scholarship reconsideration. They do not do need-based either. What you can do however is to highlight the things in your application that you think makes you eligible for a merit based scholarship and submit the reconsideration form. They will get back to you in a month or two. At least that was the case in R1. Decisions were out on November 30th and scholarship reconsideration results came out before Feb 7th.
