Hey guys,

I just gave gmat and scored 660(47(quant) 34(Verbal)).And at present i have work ex of exact 2 years.
I have volunteer exp.and some work achievement like being a fresher i was able to handle client.etc......
i do not know what to do........should i go with this score and rely on essays and stuff for BYU......or the dreadful(giving gmat) which i just do not want to do..any suggestions????????????? or colleges i should go for..........plz in dire need of help

I would advice you to try for BYU with same score as of now. If you lucky and gets an admit her then its well enough else you can prepare for GMAT harder and give it in next 2-3 months and try for next year programs starting either in Jan of Aug.This is because most of the top program would have been almost full with international candidates.Let me know if there is anything else I can help. Good Luck.

You're sitting at 48.8% percentile GMAT and ~82% percentile GPA, so honestly your scores aren't your weakness. I'd apply and focus on using your essay and letters to offset your lack of work experience. Average is 4 years and while there's no minimum, that's what they'll be focusing on relative to other applicants. Convince them you've been a busy beaver the last 24 months and you have a shot.

Does anyone know what the average time is to hear back from BYU after you have your interview? I had my interview about two weeks ago now and still haven't heard anything. Dr. Snow whom I interviewed with said I should be hearing on the decision within a week. I read previous posts and saw that some people were placed on hold but I never got such an email...

Congrats Daniel! It looks like BYU is sending out today the acceptance letters/emails. Two other Brazilians were just accepted as well.

Daniel where are you from?

Should I apply to BYU this year or wait?
I've been working since January 2017, so it will be about 1 year by the time I submit my application, and it will be about 20 months when school starts.
With a gmat of 660 q46 v36, (i'm considering a retake) and a gpa of 3.6 is it likely that I get in the time around?

Congrats to all who got accepted, Good luck!!
