Can you please elaborate what is Ecclesiastical endorsements and how do you get these endorsements ?

The ecclesiastical endorsement is an endorsement from a religious leader. BYU has a honor code that students are expected to follow so the endorsement is kind of like a letter of recommendation but on merrits only of character and it needs to come from a religious leader of some kind. BYU is a Christian school but I don't think the endorsement needs to come from a Christian leader... might want to double check that though.

Yes, the school website states that the endorsement can be obtained from any religious leader.

I think you have to do the IERF evaluation of any degree not of US.However, You should better double check with Julianne or byumba team to clarify this.

Thanks sucramflores for confirming. From previous threads, it seems they take at least 2 weeks of review time before sending interview invite.
Also, I got a confirmation that Application will not be affected just because of endorsement part..so I don't have to worry about it :).

Are you an International applicant? btw Good Luck for your application!

I'm applying for the Executive MBA so I'm going to dilute this thread a bit, but still fun to read other applicants' experiences. 3.6 GPA, 670 GMAT, 21 years of work experience, so I'm pretty confident I'll get accepted. The EMBA program is close by too and I'm not interested in traveling so frankly it's the only program I'm even going to bother applying to. I'm not LDS (my wife is) so that'll add some spice to the process.

Submitted my application Saturday with one letter of recommendation still pending. Going to the onsite info session Tuesday with my wife. Applied for round 2 of course because round 1 deadline was a week ago. Wish me luck. :)

I believe EMBA selection process are almost the same as of MBA, so it will help you too.

Hey guys! Well, I just got my acceptance notification this past week! I thought I'd share my experience so others may know the application flow and timing somewhat.
I was contacted for an interview a few weeks after BYU started reviewing. The interview was by a professor and was more informal with most of the conversation focused on why I wanted an MBA and why now. The conversation was very pleasant. I then received notification pretty quickly, about one week. I got my application early, and since BYU is rolling admissions, that's why I heard so quickly. Now I'm waiting for a scholarship decision!

I submitted the first week of October a little after the applications opened. BYU started reviewing at the beginning of November, and I was contacted 2-3 weeks later. As for the interview, it was about 45 minutes. I only remember getting asked 3 questions (with some follow-ups), and none of them were behavioral. He mostly wanted to see what my goals were and how the MBA fit.
