It's sad to hear people get rejections. Did anyone get rejected after interview yet? If yes, was there any specific reason?

Application Completed: 7th October at 10:00 AM Eastern
Interview received: 10th November 11 AM via email. Status update happened soon after.

Mine was submitted yesterday and I haven't heard back. I'm guessing if you don't hear back in 2-4 days it's a ding (at least recently, earlier it was longer). How did your interview go?

Its not over till you get an official ding. For some reason, this application season has been weird. Add to it the whole rolling admission thing, you have a classic admission mess on your hands. Every application is unique and this is especially true for this application season. Last season, people had alrady received ding emails. This only means that they have received a lot more applications this year.

The details of the application are :

Application Submitted: 6th October, ED
Application Completed: 7th October at 10:00 AM Eastern

Ive seen a few other 7th Oct applicants who got interview invites before me and who had submitted it later than I did. So there is no particular pattern to this.

Just got the call! In for J-Term. Call came from an "unavailable" number, though.

Timeline:
Applied: October 6
Application Complete: October 7
Invited to Interview: October 28
Interviewed: November 6
Accepted: November 10

Also a low gpa (< 3.0) applicant from the US FWIW (you can search my posts for a full profile somewhere).
