There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
to those still waiting for invites - last year someone on gmatclub went through the previous few years invites and there was no correlation between invite date and acceptance so don't lose faith!

That's some good info! Thanks for bringing that up, I'm sure it helps soothe some anxiety on this board .

No invites so far.. Is it because of low GMAT (700) or is it because I didnt submit an application at all, in R1? I think its the first case. I guess, they smelled my low gmat.
Looks like they are sending invites to those having at least 740, except one who has 710. Congrats to those who got the invite and best of luck to others.. Hopefully I will apply in R2
Congrats to all those who got invites!! Those who are anxiously waiting for their invites, feel free to join us in the chat. https://gmatclub.com/gchat/
is it just me or do the invitees have crazy high gmat scores lol
I think both Booth and Wharton are well-known for valuing high stats (GPA/GMAT) more-so than other school (ie. Kellogg), so not super surprising.

There might be something to this, but Kellogg's probably the wrong comparison. Kellogg's an "interview everybody" school, so it's impossible to say at this stage what it is they really value in a candidate. (Given the huge jump in average GMAT at Kellogg last year, one could infer that they now care about scores just as much as any of their peers.)
YAY!!!! I just saw my IV invite on the application page. I still don't have an email or a way to actually sign up for an interview. . . . but I'm too busy jumping up and down anyway.
