Has anyone heard of students being admitted to Booth without having visited campus? I live abroad and wasn't able to arrange a visit in time before the deadline.

Majority of international applicants never visited campus before applying.

Just 1 week left for final results. How is everyone managing the wait? Interview applicants mind sharing their interview experiences??

Last year decision deadline was March 17th and they called admits a day before i.e. on March 16th. Anyone thinks they will follow the same pattern this year as well? In such case we should start getting calls on Wednesday, March 15th.

Should be - but it may roll over to the second day.

I wonder what happens after the interview - does the app get a re-read or does it go straight to vote?

What weightage do you think the interview holds?

Is it fair to assume that those who will receive an offer will be called on March 15th and the rejection emails will come on March 16th for round 2?

Don't know about Booth, but adcoms of many other Bschools, who participated in our live chats, told us that an admission committee does take a final review of the application along with interview report submitted by interviewer and then takes the final decision. I don't think procedure at Booth will be too much different.

We recently carried out a detailed analysis to find out significance of interview in getting admit at top schools. You can see the analysis and post interview acceptance rates of Booth here.. https://gmatclub.com/forum/chances-of-g ... 30246.html

I also checked threads of 2014 and 2015 intakes. In both years admits received calls on a day before the decision day and waitlists/dings on decision day, so we have a high chance of getting admit calls on March 15th this year.

Good luck everyone!

Based on previous trends does it seem to go by first letter of your last name? I saw some discussion on that

We can't confirm this. I know this issue often comes up for the discussion but so far no one has provided any credible evidence to support this theory.
