Hi guys,

Does Cox take a decision about applicant at the end of round or as the applications come? I am asking because I am late in process and started application yesterday. I was wondering if it would be better to pace up and submit application in R2 or take my time and submit in R3. Any suggetions are welcome.

I also received an email from Hannah asking for Time for quick Skype Call. Is it more like a 2nd round of interview or like a message she wanted to communicate about my chances to get admitted into COX?

If you already interviewed by Hannah, I think the quick skype call should be about your final decision bro.

In my case, the email title was "great news", what is your email title from Hannah?
That could be the clue.. :)

Accepted into SMU COX. Waiting for official LOA:)

Can someone throw some light on fee structure? In SMU COX webiste it says 76k$ approx. for annual year. So it is just for one year and we need to pay nearly same amount for 2nd year of MBA as well??

Hi Shounak,

Sorry for the late reply.

My Interview was taken by Hannah. IT was mostly behavioral questions.

She initially told about herself then asked to tell about myself.

Then she asked why MBA at this point of time, Why SMU and she asked to quote leadership skills I exhibited in my company and asked many follow up questions on that to make herself clear on each point I stated.

She was going through my resume simultaneously.

As a whole, it was a cool and interactive interview.

When I attended Preview Day at SMU, I spoke with J.R. and he says that R2 and R3 should be equal chances of being accepted, but if you apply after R3 you will not be eligible for the Distinguished Scholars Scholarship. If I were you, I'd take my time and write well on the essays and improve test scores if needed.
