COngratulations on your admittance! Are you accepting the offer?

Attention current and future applicants to COX.

I just wanted to share something regarding the whole "is SMU COX MBA in IOTM specialisation a STEM program" argument.

I wrote to the admissions team and here is the response I got -->

Quote:
Good afternoon

Currently the Cox MBA program's ITOM focus is indeed a STEM program. This is the final year that the program will be STEM eligible. Moving forward for the recruiting class of 2018 (graduation 2020) the program will revert to standard OPT status.

The SMU Cox MBA Admissions Team

So all those looking to apply to COX next year in hopes that it will a STEM program => IT WILL NO LONGER BE A STEM PROGRAM.
Decide accordingly.

Specially with Trump in power and the whole H1-B situation-> This is a major setback for the prospective International candidates looking to apply to Cox.
I think it further plummet the number of International applications Cox receives next year.

Regards
