Hey everyone, got a dumb question: For Darden MBA applicants, where can I find the portal that houses the admission decision? I logged into both the Application Management Portal and the SIS but I’m assuming neither of those are correct.

Hi, so for example if the email id you get is Howardk21@darden - You are interviewing with a second year student whose surname is Howard with the first name starting with K. You can use Linkedin search to enter the last name and filter Darden under schools and you will be able to find your interviewer. If the email is just Howardk@darden (without the 21)- In this case it would be an adcom member. You can use Linkedin following the same steps outlined above! Once you get their name, just run a google search of their name + Darden, it might give you some good information on their involvement with the school which you could base the post-interview questions on.

Anything is fair game, but the most common approach seems to be asking for your story in some form or another, so be prepared to speak about your life (10-15 minutes?), touching on key moments that led you to this point in time. Most people also seem to be getting some sort of behavioral question at the end: describe a time you worked with a team/demonstrated leadership/worked with a difficult boss etc. Good luck!

Hi, I am applying in R1. The FAQ section says that Darden offers Application fee waivers for attending certain events. Any idea for which events they offer? I checked their Events section and no mention of waiver in any Event.

I believe there is an application fee waiver for the people who attend the Diversity Conference. But, the registration is closed now.

You will know latest by 7th October, I believe a few have already been admitted but they had applied much earlier than the deadline. Edit: My bad, no one has been admitted to the best of my knowledge for EA so far.

Oh wow I didn't know people were already starting to hear back. If you don't mind me asking, where have you heard that? I know Darden is known for calling admitted applicants a few days in advance but wasn't sure when that began.
