Hey everyone, got a dumb question: For Darden MBA applicants, where can I find the portal that houses the admission decision? I logged into both the Application Management Portal and the SIS but I’m assuming neither of those are correct.

I think you have to submit the application. Could be wrong - going to worry about that later.

Do you think there might a difference in the amount of scholarships of binding vs. non-binding applicants for Darden? I heard in some school binding applicants might get less amount of scholarship, but I'm not sure how it's gonna be in Darden since the school says binding applicants who get accepted will know the amount of scholarships they get first before deciding whether or not to commit to Darden and withdraw applications from other schools.

aidyn I think personally that there will be less scholarships for folks who apply in ea binding. Since the decision comes out before other schools R1 decision, and you are supposed to withdraw applications, it doesn't really give you an opportunity to negotiate a higher scholarship either. One could also argue though that people who apply ea binding are stretching for the school anyway, which is why the scholarship amount may be less. I wouldn't worry about it too much, I tend to think that if you are scholarship quality you will be given a scholarship as long as you are applying in ea or round 1.

Hi khanna93 , Darden does not admit students who have already completed an MBA from an AACSB accredited institution. To find out if a school is accredited by AACSB, please refer to the AACSB website. As long as the institution does not fall under this category you can apply for a second MBA. Also in the optional essay, you can explain why you would like to pursue a second MBA.

dips1122 To schedule an open interview, you must start an Early Action application, complete the 'Who are you?' page, upload your resume and provide an answer to the short-answer learning team question in the ‘More about you’ section: "Tell us what you would want your learning team to know about you — personal, professional or both." (100 words) You will be able to schedule the interview once you upload the above details.
