Very common.
A lot of humans are rejected each year. They got seats for only 900 people. Also it's HBS, they don't give **** about rankings. They know they got the money

From the decision tracker, I see that around 80 applicants were dinged in Round 1 last year(2020 intake). This year, I see 50 dings in Round 1 so far. I am not sure what to make of that yet but just providing some perspective on last year's intake and this year's

will do! My interview was intense, albeit friendly. But she was clearly testing me from different angles😃 I have a hypothesis that especially for non-native speakers interviews tend to be more stressful to check how one commands English under stressful circumstances.

For what it's worth, HBS did announce on November 5 that they will be increasing enrollment for the Classes of 2023 and 2024 to about 1,000 students each.
