A few good news from Harvard that we already knew have just been confirmed.
For the next two intakes, the HBS has increased the class size by about a 100+ students and will have 1000 seats each year. Yes!! 1000+ seats for two years.
That would be 4x the total number of applicants for a few schools.
I consider this as an opportunity for the B-school aspirants applying next year, given that the deferrals were granted for one cycle yet the increase is for 2.
Also, HBS has finally launched the Racial Equity Taskforce to ensure that there is more inclusion among the students of different ethnicity at HBS. Well, I believe in an individualistic approach and thus consider this an important step in the right direction. Hope that they don't lose the way and the thing doesn't become what it was intended to be like all things have historically.
Finally, from this year on. You will have to have a summer internship / venture creation over summer at HBS. Only exceptions will be to those in extreme situations.
