KynnN If I may add, I feel it's the late rounds for the Sept 24 intake, so it may be really difficult to secure a good amount of scholarship. But you could still try and see. If you go with the Jan 25 Intake, you may get better sponsorship, and given you will save some costs, you may even be able to do an exchange in the US (Yale/Stern) if you are interested and explore opportunities there. Also, just keep in perspective that consulting recruitments have been low this year, and I hear from a current student the scene wasn't great with consulting at HEC, although there were decent opportunities in other areas. So, if you are a non-native/non EU, it's best to research your fallback options and not just count on consulting.

Hi I have got 590 in gmat. I am a mother of two year old and is currently working in public sector undertaking ( Government bank) in India for 12 years as special assistant . I have completed my graduation with Bsc Mathematics Honours (51 %). Is there any chance of me getting into HEC for 2025 intake?

KynnN - HEC MBA alum here. I was part of the Jan intake (J'18) and transitioned to management consulting in the Middle East post-MBA, also did a strategy internship at a German firm from Mar-Jun '19 i.e. pre-graduation. Both intakes offer opportunities to intern, here's some differences:
For the September intake, there are 2 windows when you can intern: Summer and Winter. For example, if you join the September 2024 intake, you can potentially intern during May-August 2025 or January-June 2026. This can particularly help if you want to explore multiple industries or sectors through internships. It is worth noting here that the September intake participants are required to come back to class for their Specialization (i.e. Second/ Customized Phase) after completion of internship (May-August).
In this context, the advantage that the January intake offers is the opportunity to do a long internship (upto 6 months) after completing your MBA course-work in 12-13 months. For example, if you join the January 2025 intake, you have the option to complete the MBA course-work by December 2025 and intern from January-June 2026, with the possibility of joining the same company full-time post graduation (i.e. July 2026). This can particularly benefit candidates who are keen to explore a certain sector/function. By leveraging your MBA learnings, you can do a 6-month internship in that domain and eventually join the same (or similar) company/ role post graduation.
Regarding timing, HEC officially maintains that all rounds have equal chances. To be on the safer side, I would suggest applying in the earlier rounds if you can as the scholarship pool/ funds are higher. Broadly given your profile and context though, you could try applying in the Feb round for the Sep intake i.e. it's not extremely late.
