Hi all.
I was considering to apply to IE April 2016 intake and on the online application form I notice that I can only apply to January or September intakes. I had an impression that they also have an April intake. I am wondering why I don't see April 2016 as one of the options? Am I missing something here?

Hi everyone,

I just received my interview with the admissions team - first interview. I am quite nervous about it. Anyone who has given an interview lately? can you share the questions asked? I have heard there are situational questions and questions on current issues. Can any one share what have they asked?

Well, apart from the usual "why MBA. Why IE? Why now?", they will be generally looking into your "international competence", they are looking for candidates that are connected with the world, know what's going on the international news (got this question), or know the president of China (got that too). You might also get question about the reasons you think they shouldn't accept you .. Be honest without giving them answer like "I killed 3 people last week" and you should be fine

Additionally, they will be looking into your line of thinking: How much is 47*4?, what's the connection between music and finance? That sort of thing .. There is no right or wrong answer for most questions, except for the math one of course, but if you are intelligent enough you should be fine

My advice is, be yourself, try to tell "your story" in a way that shows your uniqueness and the value you will add to the student body and the class experience.

IE is a dynamic school with a humble heart. They don't like snobs and they believe the best ideas come from genuine people .. Or at least this is how I previewed it

We are in the same boat. Got in for Jan intake but I wish to avoid the pressure to get funding and visas, so i opted for Sept 16 intake.

Spot-on! the questions usually vary. My advice is to be relaxed and original. Rehearse your CV and try to create a BIG picture of your CV and IE vision and culture.

I have also been accepted into the September 2016 IMBA intake for a couple months now (I know that's pretty early). I've been waiting for others to post something about the Sept. 2016 intake so I can start talking to my future classmates/friends!!

I'm from the US (Midwest). Would love to add you guys on FB and/or perhaps start a FB group for the Sept 2016 intake? Inbox me for my FB.
