My wife could not relocate with me to Ithaca and so we'll have to travel back and forth from each other's locations. I wish I had an answer to your dilemma. Its been 11 days since I had my interview and the anxiety and wait is killing me. But I'm sure there is a strong possibility that the final result is just round the corner, hopefully it will be a good one for you.

It's unfortunate that you haven't heard back yet--have you called the office to check on your status? If it's over the 4 week mark, it may be a good idea to do so. I'm sure a verdict is on its way. I just had my interview two days ago and was hoping to have a nice Christmas gift (an acceptance), but from your post I'm not sure how dependable that 3-4 week estimate is. I am already anxious to hear back! Good luck, and keep us posted on any developments. I will do the same, if/when anything happens.

Hey folks - just wanted to quickly shed light on this. The delay is due to the new IT system that Johnson Admissions recently installed (see chat transcript.) The Adcom is in the midst of testing the system out, to avoid any notification errors - e.g. admitted folks getting a deny notice. *gasp* Decisions will start going out once the system has been green-lighted. The best estimate right now is 15th, all the way through Christmas Eve. Good luck folks!

Hey - does anyone know when R2 interview invites should be expected to come out?

My status changed to "under review" as well. Has any R2 applicant received an interview invite yet? i was assuming the interview invites would follow the initial notification date of February 15th as per the website.

Hello, That was not the case for R1s. We started seeing changes in our status as early as 2 months before the notification date, and formal invites over a month before that date. I believe the gap was due to testing the new system to schedule interviews, so I'd assume we could see the first invites for R2s coming as early as before year end or right after the first decisions for R1s roll out. However, this is just my guess. Best of luck!
