A quick question to those who have already interviewed. If you're based in the US, has anyone interviewed with an Alumni?
based on the responses so far my understanding is either you go to Ithaca or do Skype. But has anyone done an interview with Alumni. say for example you're in Houston, and you couldn't fly in and you don't want to do a Skype. Did Johnson allow you to interview with an Alumni in your geographic area?
I applied to Johnson through the Consortium, whose deadline coincides w/ Johnson's R3 deadline. I received an interview invite + LEAD weekend invite last wednesday, for 4-5Feb
is there any point of applying in R4?? are there any more seats available?

If they didn't have seats they wouldn't have a R4. If you can present a good reason as to why you waited until R4 to apply, and you have a good profile, you definitely have a shot.
Johnson does not offer interviews with alums. If you are really interested in Johnson and you do receive an interview invite, you should come to Ithaca.

I spoke to an adcom member last week and he said that the interviews will be released soon. MBA Livewire also isn't showing Cornell interview invites either. Don't lose hope yet!
I called as well, to figure out if any immideate travel may conflict with interview dates. Per the website - the feedback was interview invites will go out until February 15th. Strange that there aren't any reportees on GMATClub or MBA Livewire. Compared to last year the number of folks applying who are on GMATclub is lower too.
Livewire shows an interview invite for a R3 applicant.
R2 guys, any update ?
Applied in R2 2 Year MBA...no updates

Hey do you plan to speak to anyone in admissions, I got waitlisted too... Ill be working on my GMAT in the mean time... but I'm just confused if we will be interviewed or not. I believe all 1 YR MBA Applicants have already had an initial informal conversation with a member from AdCom. Any idea about the process and how soon would they have to decide to make sure all the Visa processing is done in time?

I just received the decision an hour back so haven't yet planned on my next steps yet. I do wish to follow-up with admissions team early next week on the next steps for W/L candidates. I hope that the conversion cycle will be fast enough to allow ample amount of time for visa processing, etc. I'm still an optimist!

Did you guys get your initial interview? As soon as you submit your application, you are given the option of scheduling that interview within days. I had mine last night, and my wife a couple of days ago. Maybe international students get a different treatment, but you should have at least had that initial interview
